SEA LIFE Bangkok + Madame Tussauds — Combo Ticket from Siam Paragon
Last updated: May 2026

The train horn of the Mae Klong line is iconic — but inside Siam Paragon, the soundtrack is different. You are walking through a curved acrylic tunnel and the room above your head is full of seawater. A four-metre sand tiger shark slides past on your left. An eagle ray banks overhead. A green sea turtle, slow and deliberate, hangs in the blue light. This is the SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean Tunnel — and it is the moment most people remember from a Bangkok holiday.
Trip Thai Tour's combo ticket bundles SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World (B1–B2 of Siam Paragon — Southeast Asia's largest aquarium with 30,000+ marine creatures across 400 species) with Madame Tussauds Bangkok (4th floor of Siam Discovery — 90+ hyper-realistic wax figures across music, film, sports, and Bollywood zones). Both attractions sit inside the same connected mall complex, a 5–10 minute air-conditioned walk apart.
The combo is ฿1,200 per person, valid for 7 days from first entry. No tour, no guide, no transport — just a flexible digital ticket you scan at the gate, freeing your afternoon for the famous Siam Paragon food court (Gourmet Market, Food Hall, and 30+ international restaurants). Message us on WhatsApp +66 89 949 6235 to book in under two minutes.

The most common complaint on competitor combo tickets is the 'voucher exchange' confusion — vouchers issued under one name, redeemed at a different counter, with the staff insisting the QR doesn't match. We pre-confirm your full passport name on the ticket before sending it, so the redemption is one scan and you walk in.
The second complaint is hidden upsells — Glass Bottom Boat sold as 'free' but actually requiring a same-day surcharge, or the 4D cinema marketed as included when it isn't on a basic combo. We tell you exactly what's included (entry only, both attractions) and exactly what's optional (boat, cinema, photo) up front, with WhatsApp pricing in writing.

What Actually Happens
1. Arrival at Siam Paragon — BTS Siam Station to the SEA LIFE foreigner counter
You step off the BTS Skytrain at Siam Station and follow the signs for Exit 5. The exit feeds directly into the upper level of Siam Paragon — no road crossings, no tuk-tuk drivers, no negotiation in the Bangkok heat. The mall hits you the way Bangkok malls do: cold air, polished marble, and the smell of cinnamon from a bakery you cannot quite see. You ride the escalator down through the central atrium past the Ferrari showroom on the ground floor (yes, there is genuinely a Ferrari dealership inside the mall) and continue down to B1. The SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World entrance is large and obvious — a curved blue archway with the SEA LIFE logo, queues forming to the right. You go to the foreigner counter, which is a separate desk to the left of the main local-pricing line. Show your WhatsApp QR voucher and your passport. The staff member checks the name, prints your wristbands, and you are inside in under 90 seconds. The whole process is in English. There is no haggling, no upsell, no hidden charge appearing at the till — the ฿1,200 you paid online is the ฿1,200 you paid, and that includes Madame Tussauds for whenever you decide to walk over. A practical tip: arrive between 10:30 and 11:30 AM if you want the quietest experience. Most international tour buses arrive at SEA LIFE around 1:00–3:00 PM; mornings and evenings after 5:00 PM are noticeably calmer. The aquarium is fully indoor and the temperature inside hovers around 20–22°C, so a thin layer is genuinely useful even in April.
2. SEA LIFE Bangkok — the 270° Ocean Tunnel and the moment everyone remembers
You walk through the Tropical Rainforest zone first — giant freshwater fish, poison dart frogs, and Asian small-clawed otters that get fed at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The lighting goes dim. You pass the Seahorse Kingdom (delicate, beautifully lit, surprisingly photogenic) and emerge into the Coral Reef tank — hundreds of clownfish, blue tangs, and lionfish in saturated rainbow colour. Children stop here for ten minutes minimum; adults usually do too. Then you reach it. The Ocean Tunnel. A 270-degree curved acrylic tube about 20 metres long, with the main tank — five million litres of seawater — surrounding you on three sides and overhead. A four-metre sand tiger shark glides past your shoulder. An eagle ray banks above your head, slow and unhurried. Two green sea turtles drift across the ceiling. There is an Atlantis-themed shipwreck on the floor of the tank that the schools of jacks weave through. You will stand still for at least three minutes. Most visitors stand for ten. What your guide would explain (we will tell you on WhatsApp if you ask): the sharks are not hungry. They are fed restaurant-grade seafood on a strict schedule — high-grade fish and squid delivered with long poles directly to each predator. Hunting takes massive energy in the wild and carries injury risk; in here, they are simply too well-fed to bother with the groupers and rays sharing the tank. The cleaner wrasse darting around the big fish are 'staff' — the predators recognise them and leave them alone. Shark feeding is at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, eagle ray feeding at 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. If you can time your tunnel walk to coincide with feeding, the experience triples in intensity. After the tunnel: Penguin Ice Playground (gentoo penguins, feeds at 11:30 AM, 12:30, 3:30, 4:30 PM), the Shark Walk (a thin transparent acrylic floor with sharks swimming below — terrifying for some, thrilling for kids), and the Jellyfish zone with surreal LED lighting that changes the jellies through pink, blue, and green.
3. The walk between attractions — Siam Paragon to Siam Discovery via Siam Center
You exit SEA LIFE through the gift shop (skippable unless your child has fallen in love with a soft-toy octopus, in which case good luck) and ride the escalator back up to the Siam Paragon ground floor. From here it is a fully indoor walk — you do not step outside, do not cross a road, do not deal with traffic. Out the back of Siam Paragon, across an air-conditioned skybridge, into Siam Center. Siam Center is the younger, hipper of the three connected malls — Thai independent fashion brands, design stores, and a much busier feel than Paragon's luxury vibe. Walk straight through. Out the back of Siam Center, into Siam Discovery via another skybridge. Siam Discovery is the third mall in the trio — calmer, more design-led, more open atrium. Madame Tussauds Bangkok occupies the entire 4th floor (you may also see it referenced as floors 4–6 in some materials — the main entrance and most of the experience are on floor 4). Take the escalator or the lift. The total walk from SEA LIFE exit to Madame Tussauds entrance is between 5 and 10 minutes depending on whether you stop in Siam Center. This is also the natural time to detour for food. The G-floor of Siam Paragon has the Gourmet Market food hall — a high-end international food court with everything from Khao Soi to Tonkotsu ramen to a French patisserie. Budget ฿200–฿500 per person. If you want a sit-down meal, both Paragon and Siam Discovery have full-service restaurants on the upper floors — including good Indian options at Mrs Balbir's and excellent Thai at Erawan Tea Room (in the connected Erawan Bangkok complex, 5 minutes further on foot).
4. Madame Tussauds Bangkok — 90 wax figures and the 'pose with your idol' moment
You scan the same combo voucher at the Madame Tussauds entrance. Your wristband from SEA LIFE is not the entry — it is the QR ticket on your phone, which is why we tell you to keep WhatsApp open. Inside, the experience is genuinely different from a traditional museum: this is hands-on. You can touch the figures, hug them, pose, take selfies, sit on the same sofa as the wax David Beckham. The lighting is set up for photos. The figures are positioned at staged, photo-friendly angles. The space is divided into themed zones. Music: pop icons including Lady Gaga, Madonna, Michael Jackson. Film: Hollywood and Asian cinema legends. Sports: David Beckham (a fan favourite), Cristiano Ronaldo, Serena Williams. History and Leaders: world figures across the last century. Bollywood: a strong section reflecting Bangkok's enormous Indian visitor market — Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan. Thai and regional Asian celebrities also feature prominently. What surprises most visitors is the precision. The wax figures take 6–8 months to construct in the Madame Tussauds London studio; each one uses real human hair inserted strand by strand, glass eyes matched to high-resolution celebrity photos, and skin tones built up in dozens of paint layers. From two metres away, the resemblance is unsettling. From close enough to take a selfie, you can see the pores. Allow 60–90 minutes for a relaxed walkthrough. Children typically have a strong opinion about which figures they want photos with — the Disney/sports/pop sections are the longest queues. There is no rush; you can spend as long as you want, and the wax figures rotate every 12–18 months as celebrities trend or fade.
5. Wrap-up — Siam Paragon Gourmet Market food court and onward
You exit Madame Tussauds, walk back through Siam Discovery and Siam Center, and end up where you started — the Siam Paragon ground floor. The Gourmet Market food hall is on the G floor, immediately accessible. This is, genuinely, one of the best mall food courts in Asia. There are 30+ stalls covering Thai (full somtam menu, pad krapao, khao soi), Japanese (sushi, ramen, donburi), Korean (BBQ, bibimbap), Italian, Indian (good vegetarian options including thali sets), Vietnamese, and a serious bakery section. Budget ฿200–฿500 per person for a generous lunch. If you used your combo ticket for both attractions same-day, you are now done — about 4 hours total elapsed (2 hours SEA LIFE, 1.5 hours Madame Tussauds, 30 minutes walking and breaks). If you only used SEA LIFE today, your Madame Tussauds entry is good for 6 more days; come back any time, no need to pre-book a slot. From Siam Paragon you can: walk 5 minutes to the Erawan Shrine and Central Embassy (luxury shopping), take the BTS one stop to Chit Lom for the Big C and the Pratunam wholesale clothing market, or BTS three stops to Asok for the Sukhumvit nightlife. If you want a guided Bangkok day to follow, message us on WhatsApp — our Grand Palace tour pairs perfectly as a morning before this indoor afternoon, or our Damnoen Saduak Floating Market tour as the next-day plan.
Is This Right for You?
✦ Families with young children (ages 3–12)
This is one of the most child-engaged half-days in Bangkok. SEA LIFE has the Interactive Rockpool where kids can touch starfish and hermit crabs, the Penguin Ice Playground at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM feeding times, and an entire 4D cinema. Madame Tussauds is hands-on rather than 'don't touch the exhibit' — children pose, hug, and sit on the figures. Both attractions are stroller-friendly, fully air-conditioned, and have toilets and baby-change facilities. Children 0–1 enter SEA LIFE free.
✦ First-time visitors to Bangkok with limited time
If you have one afternoon and want to see something memorable that isn't another temple, this is the answer. The Ocean Tunnel and Madame Tussauds both deliver high-impact, photo-heavy experiences in 4 hours total — fully indoors, no Bangkok heat, no traffic risk. Combine with a morning Grand Palace visit and you have a complete first day in the city without leaving the BTS line.
✦ Couples on a rainy-day or hot-afternoon plan
Bangkok weather is reliably hot and unreliably wet. SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds are both indoor, both air-conditioned to around 20–22°C, and both connected by indoor walkways. The Glowing Ocean light show at SEA LIFE and the staged photo zones at Madame Tussauds both deliver strong couple-photo content. Pair with dinner at a Siam Paragon rooftop restaurant and you have a full evening sorted.
✦ Indian families combining SEA LIFE with shopping
Madame Tussauds Bangkok has a strong Bollywood zone (Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan) which Indian families consistently rate as the highlight. The Siam Paragon Gourmet Market has multiple Indian vegetarian options, and the Pratunam wholesale market is one BTS stop away — perfect for a same-afternoon shopping plan. We can arrange Hindi-speaking driver pickup if you want to start with this attraction and continue elsewhere.
✦ Travellers who hate forced shopping stops
Most Bangkok 'package tours' include a stop at a gem factory, silk workshop, or 'local craft' shop where a commission is paid to the driver. This combo ticket is none of that. It is a direct-entry ticket to two attractions inside a connected mall. There is no driver, no pickup, no detour. Your time is your time, and if you want to skip the Madame Tussauds gift shop and walk straight to the food court, no one will guilt you.
What Our Guests Say
"Booked the SEA LIFE + Madame Tussauds combo through Trip Thai Tour for our 3-day Bangkok stopover. The WhatsApp booking took 5 minutes, the QR scanned at the gate without any drama, and the foreigner counter was completely separate from the main queue. Our 7-year-old loved the Ocean Tunnel and the penguin feeding at 3:30 PM. Madame Tussauds was less his thing but my husband enjoyed the football zone. Good value compared to walk-up gate prices, and Chatree's WhatsApp replies were genuinely fast. Would book again."
"Travelled with my parents and two children (8 and 11). Booked this combo as a rainy-afternoon backup and it turned out to be the best thing we did in Bangkok. The Bollywood zone at Madame Tussauds was a real surprise — wax Shah Rukh Khan looks ridiculously real. SEA LIFE Ocean Tunnel kept the kids quiet for 20 minutes which is a record. The food court at Siam Paragon has decent vegetarian Indian options too. ฿1,200 per person was fair, no hidden surprises at the gate. Trip Thai Tour staff replied to my pre-trip questions in under 10 minutes every time."
"Used this combo as our 'recovery day' after a heavy first 48 hours in Bangkok. Both venues are completely indoor and freezing cold (in the best way) — exactly what you want when it's 35 degrees outside. The Glowing Ocean event at SEA LIFE was a really nice surprise — beautiful lighting on the jellyfish tanks. Madame Tussauds was 90 minutes of pure photo silliness. The 7-day flexibility on the ticket meant we could nap between the two without rushing. Booking via Trip Thai Tour rather than the OTA aggregators was about the same price but with a real human on WhatsApp, which mattered when we wanted to ask about the Glass Bottom Boat add-on."
"Honest review: this is a digital ticket, not a guided tour, and Trip Thai Tour are completely upfront about that. We knew that going in. What we got was a properly-named voucher, a WhatsApp link to ask questions, and zero gate hassle on a busy Sunday. The Siam Paragon food court alone is worth the trip — we ate an excellent ramen and watched the Ferrari showroom from the railing. Smaller crowds at SEA LIFE around 5:00 PM if you can time it. Madame Tussauds was fun for an hour, the Bollywood section is bigger than expected. Solid 4 hours."

SEA LIFE Bangkok + Madame Tussauds — Combo Ticket
Frequently
Asked
Questions
The combo ticket includes standard direct entry to both SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World (B1–B2 of Siam Paragon, all 14 zones) and Madame Tussauds Bangkok (4th floor of Siam Discovery, all themed zones with 90+ wax figures), at a fixed price of ฿1,200 per person for foreign passport holders.
Validity is 7 days from first entry — you can visit both same day or split them across the week. Optional add-ons (Glass Bottom Boat, 4D Cinema, Pepsi & popcorn set, digital photos) are not included in the ฿1,200 base price and are paid separately at each attraction's counter or pre-booked via WhatsApp.
Trip Thai Tour's combo price is ฿1,200 per person for foreigners, with no hidden charges at the gate. Children aged 0–1 enter SEA LIFE free; standard child rate applies from age 2 (please confirm exact child pricing on WhatsApp).
This compares favourably with walk-up gate prices, where SEA LIFE alone is approximately ฿1,090 and Madame Tussauds approximately ฿990 for adults — buying separately at the gate would total around ฿2,080 per person. Booking online in advance saves up to 45% on the combined attractions.
SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World is located on the B1–B2 (basement) floors of Siam Paragon shopping mall at 991 Rama I Road, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330. Madame Tussauds Bangkok is on the 4th floor of Siam Discovery, which is part of the same connected mall complex.
The two attractions are 5–10 minutes apart on foot, with the entire walk taking place indoors through the air-conditioned Siam Paragon → Siam Center → Siam Discovery skybridge system. The easiest way to arrive is BTS Siam Station Exit 5, which leads directly into Siam Paragon.
SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with last entry at 7:00 PM. Madame Tussauds Bangkok also opens daily from 10:00 AM, with similar evening closing.
On 30 January 2026 only, SEA LIFE operating hours adjust to 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (last entry 6:00 PM). Glass Bottom Boat last ride is at 5:00 PM, and Pepsi & popcorn set last order at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 4:00 PM at the latest if you plan to do both attractions same-day.
Yes — SEA LIFE Bangkok is one of the most family-engaged attractions in Bangkok. The Interactive Rockpool lets children safely touch starfish and hermit crabs; the Penguin Ice Playground has feeding shows at 11:30 AM, 12:30, 3:30 and 4:30 PM; and the 270-degree Ocean Tunnel keeps younger children entranced for 10 minutes minimum.
Madame Tussauds is similarly hands-on — children can touch, hug, and pose with all the wax figures. Both venues are stroller-friendly, fully air-conditioned (around 20–22°C inside), and have toilets and baby-change facilities. Children 0–1 enter SEA LIFE free; child rate from age 2.
Arrive between 10:30 and 11:30 AM if you want the quietest experience — international tour buses typically arrive between 1:00 and 3:00 PM, and the Ocean Tunnel can get crowded in that window. Late afternoon after 5:00 PM is also noticeably quieter.
If you want maximum animal action, time your visit to coincide with feeding shows: otters at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, penguins at 11:30 AM, 12:30, 3:30 and 4:30 PM, sharks at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and eagle rays at 1:30 PM and 4:30 PM. Combining one shark feeding with the Ocean Tunnel walk-through triples the intensity.
It is a 5–10 minute walk, fully indoors and air-conditioned. From SEA LIFE on Siam Paragon B1, ride the escalator up to ground floor, exit through the back of Siam Paragon into Siam Center via the connecting skybridge, walk straight through Siam Center, then cross another skybridge into Siam Discovery. Take the escalator or lift to floor 4.
You do not step outside, do not cross any roads, and do not deal with traffic. Bangkok weather is irrelevant for this transition — the entire route is within the connected mall complex.
Yes — comfortably. Plan 2 hours for SEA LIFE, 1.5 hours for Madame Tussauds, and 30 minutes for the walk and a snack break. Total elapsed time is roughly 4 hours, which fits comfortably between an 11:00 AM start and a 3:00 PM finish.
Alternatively, the combo ticket is valid for 7 days from first entry, so you can split the two attractions across separate days if you prefer a more relaxed pace. Many couples and families do SEA LIFE on day 1 and Madame Tussauds later in the week.
The four most popular add-ons are: Glass Bottom Boat (a short ride across the main shark and ray tank, suitable for ages 2+ with parental consent for ages 2–3, last ride 5:00 PM); 4D Cinema show (immersive film with water spray and seat motion, recommended ages 3+ with minimum height 100 cm); Pepsi & popcorn set; and digital photo prints.
These are not included in the ฿1,200 combo base price. Pricing varies and we can confirm current rates on WhatsApp before your visit, or you can pay directly at each attraction's information counter.
No — this is a direct-entry digital ticket, not a guided tour. There is no Trip Thai Tour guide accompanying you inside the attractions. You explore both venues at your own pace using the in-attraction signage (English throughout) and the staff at each zone for questions.
If you want a fully guided Bangkok experience, see our other tours: Grand Palace tour (cultural half-day with English guide), Damnoen Saduak Floating Market tour (full-day with guide and private car), or Safari World tour (full-day with English-speaking guide).
Yes — Siam Paragon's Gourmet Market food hall on the G floor is widely considered one of the best mall food courts in Asia. It has 30+ stalls covering Thai, Japanese, Korean, Italian, Indian (with strong vegetarian options), Vietnamese, and a serious bakery section, with budgets typically ฿200–฿500 per person.
The mall itself is also worth exploring — luxury fashion, a Ferrari showroom on the ground floor, an aquarium-themed cinema, and direct BTS Skytrain access. Many of our customers extend their afternoon by 1–2 hours just for the food and shopping.
No — this combo ticket is a foreigner-only ticket, valid for non-Thai passport holders. Thai nationals should book the local-resident pricing directly with SEA LIFE Bangkok or Madame Tussauds, which is typically lower than the foreigner rate and uses a different counter.
If you have mixed nationalities in your group (one Thai partner with foreign-passport family members), please tell us on WhatsApp and we will recommend the cleanest combination of tickets.
A cancellation fee of 100% applies if the booking is cancelled 2 days (48 hours) or less before the tour date. For cancellations made more than 2 days in advance, please contact us via WhatsApp to arrange a refund or reschedule.
We do not cancel confirmed bookings due to low numbers. Your private tour runs as confirmed.
