At some point during the day at Dream World, you will be standing in a room kept at −5°C wearing a rented snow jacket, throwing a snowball at someone in your group, sweating slightly underneath the jacket because Bangkok is 35°C outside and your body is confused. This is Snow Town — an indoor winter wonderland in the middle of tropical Thailand — and it is one of 40+ attractions that your ฿1,100 Super Visa covers for the full day.

Dream World is Bangkok's largest theme park, located 35 kilometres north of central Bangkok in Pathum Thani — a 45–60 minute drive. Four themed zones: Adventure Land (Sky Coaster, Tornado, Hurricane, Grand Canyon), Fantasy Land (family rides, children's attractions, Haunted Mansion), Dream Garden (scenic landscapes, swan boats, photography), and Snow Town (−5°C, real snow, sled rides, snowball area). Live shows run throughout the day including the Hollywood Action Show and the Colors of the World Parade.

Super Visa from ฿1,100 per person — unlimited rides including Snow Town and Go-Kart, all shows included. Optional private round-trip transfer from your Bangkok hotel: ฿2,500 per vehicle for up to 9 people. Book via Trip Thai Tour on WhatsAppTAT Licensed No. 14/04232. If you are comparing Dream World with Safari World, the key difference is: Dream World is a theme park with rides and thrills; Safari World is a wildlife and animal show experience. Different days, both worth doing.

Tour Program

10:00 Park opens

Dream World opens at 10:00 AM daily

Arrive at opening to hit the most popular rides (Sky Coaster, Tornado, Hurricane) before queues build. Weekend queues for major rides can reach 30–45 minutes by midday.

10:00–12:00 Adventure Land first

Sky Coaster, Tornado, Hurricane, Grand Canyon, Super Splash — the high-adrenaline rides

Go early while energy is high and queues are short. Lockers available near the main rides for bags.

12:00–13:00 Hollywood Action Show (weekends/holidays) or Colors of the World Parade

Check the show schedule at the main gate on arrival

The Hollywood Action Show is 25 minutes and worth scheduling your day around — it runs at specific times, not continuously.

13:00–14:00 Lunch at the park

Multiple food outlets throughout the park

International buffet available at the Food Pavilion Restaurant (additional charge, not included in ticket). Budget approximately ฿150–250 for a meal at standard outlets.

14:00–15:30 Fantasy Land and Dream Garden

Family rides, children's attractions, swan boats, and the park's scenic garden zones

A good midday activity when the main coaster queues are at their longest.

15:30–17:00 Snow Town

Save Snow Town for the afternoon when the outdoor heat has peaked

The −5°C indoor temperature is at its most welcome after a day in the Bangkok sun. Snow jackets and boots available for rent at the Snow Town entrance. Budget approximately 30–60 minutes.

17:00 Depart (weekdays) or continue to 18:00 (weekends)

Park closes 17:00 on weekdays, 18:00 on weekends and public holidays

  • International buffet lunch at Food Pavilion — available at additional charge
  • Gratuities for driver (optional, appreciated)

Dream World is a Super Visa product — your ฿1,100 per person covers the full day. The most common confusion is transport. Dream World is in Pathum Thani, 35 kilometres north of central Bangkok. There is no BTS or MRT connection. Grab or taxi each way costs approximately ฿250–350 per journey — which adds up quickly for a group. The private transfer at ฿2,500 per vehicle (up to 9 passengers) is the cleaner option for groups of 3 or more.

Dream World is the right choice if your group wants a theme park day with rides, shows, and Snow Town. If you want wildlife, live animal shows, and an Indian buffet lunch, Safari World is a better fit. They are different experiences and worth comparing before you book.

Please note - Read Important (Click to expand)
  • Park opens at 10:00 AM. Weekday closing is 17:00. Weekend and public holiday closing is 18:00. Confirm opening hours before your visit — public holidays occasionally extend hours.
  • Snow Town jacket and boot rental is not included in the ticket and is charged separately at the Snow Town entrance — approximately ฿50–100. Socks are required for Snow Town. Bring your own or purchase at the entrance.
  • Some rides have height and weight restrictions. Minimum height for major coasters (Sky Coaster, Tornado) is typically 120 cm. Check restrictions at each ride entrance. Children under 90 cm may not be able to access certain rides.
  • The Hollywood Action Show runs on weekends and public holidays at scheduled times — not continuously. Check the show schedule at the main information board at the park entrance on arrival.
  • Private transfer maximum 9 passengers per vehicle. For groups of 10 or more, a second vehicle is required — contact us via WhatsApp before booking.
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the park. The park has food outlets, restaurants, and snack stalls throughout.

What to Bring — Don't Forget These

  • Comfortable walking shoes — the park is large and you will cover considerable distance across the four zones
  • Sunscreen and a hat — Dream Garden and Adventure Land are largely outdoors; Bangkok heat between 12:00 and 15:00 is intense
  • A change of clothes or swimwear — the Grand Canyon and Super Splash water rides will soak you
  • A light jacket or layer for Snow Town — the zone is −5°C and even with the rental jackets available, having your own warm layer is more comfortable
  • Socks — required for Snow Town, not optional; bring a spare pair
  • Cash in Thai Baht — approximately ฿300–500 per person for food, drinks, and any optional extras inside the park
  • A waterproof case for your phone — the water rides are genuinely wet

Cancellation Policy

  • We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 2 days (48 hours) or less before the tour date.
  • For cancellations made more than 2 days in advance, please contact us via WhatsApp to arrange a refund or reschedule.
  • We do not cancel confirmed bookings due to low numbers. Your private tour runs as confirmed.
  • 10:00 — Park opens, head to Adventure Land first

    • Arrive at Dream World as close to 10:00 AM as possible. Collect your tickets at the gate and head directly to Adventure Land — Sky Coaster, Tornado, and Hurricane have the longest queues and are best done in the first two hours.
    • Lockers are available near the main ride area for storing bags during the water rides.

12:00 — Hollywood Action Show (weekends) or Colors of the World Parade

    • Check the show schedule at the main information board on arrival. The Hollywood Action Show runs at scheduled weekend/holiday times — worth timing your day around.
    • The Colors of the World Parade runs daily and is the family-friendly alternative.

13:00 — Lunch at the park + Dream Garden

    • Food outlets throughout the park. International buffet at Food Pavilion Restaurant (additional charge). Budget ฿150–300 per person.
    • Dream Garden is the natural lunch area — shaded seating, slower pace, swan boats on the lake, and miniature world landmarks for photography.

14:00 — Fantasy Land (families) or remaining Adventure Land rides

    • Families with young children: Fantasy Land rides, Animal Farm, character interactions.
    • Thrill-seekers: revisit favourite Adventure Land rides when afternoon queues are shorter, or try Go-Karts.

15:30 — Snow Town (save for hottest part of the afternoon)

    • Rent jacket and boots at the Snow Town entrance (approximately ฿50–100, socks required). Budget 30–60 minutes inside.
    • The −5°C temperature after an afternoon in Bangkok's heat is the most satisfying version of Snow Town.

    17:00 (weekday) or 18:00 (weekend) — Depart

    • Park closes 17:00 weekdays, 18:00 weekends and public holidays.
    • Private transfer guests: driver waiting at main gate. Return to Bangkok hotel approximately 45–60 minutes.

We offer pick-up to the following places for this experience:

    • Ticket only: make your own way to Dream World (Grab or taxi approximately ฿250–350 each way from central Bangkok). Address: 62 Moo 1, Rangsit-Nakornnayok Road, Bueng Yitho, Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani 12130. Tell the driver 'Dream World Thanyaburi' — all Bangkok drivers know it.
    • With private transfer add-on: your private air-conditioned vehicle collects from your Bangkok hotel at a time confirmed when you book. Return collection at park closing time or an agreed earlier time. Maximum 9 passengers per vehicle.

    What Actually Happens

    1

Adventure Land — the rides that justify the journey

Adventure Land is the reason most people come to Dream World, and the reason most people should arrive at 10:00 when the gates open. The Sky Coaster is Asia's first hanging roller coaster — you sit in open-air seats suspended below the track and the coaster moves through the park at speed with nothing between you and the view. It is the signature ride and the queue builds fast. The Tornado sits 7 storeys high and reaches 75 km/h — this is the ride you will feel in your legs for a few minutes afterward. The Hurricane propels riders 20 metres vertically into the air. None of these descriptions fully communicates the sensation, which is why you came. The Grand Canyon water ride is modelled on the American landmark and delivers the park's most reliable soaking. You will be wet. Plan accordingly — either bring a change of clothes or ride it late in the day when you are ready to dry off in the Bangkok heat before returning to your hotel. The Super Splash is a second water ride that adds to the damage. The Haunted Mansion is a walk-through attraction for visitors who want a slower and more theatrical experience — dark corridors, jump scares, and theatrical effects. At the edge of Adventure Land is the Go-Kart track, which runs on a separate schedule and provides a different category of adrenaline for guests who prefer racing to falling. Adventure Land also contains the Space Mountain indoor roller coaster — a family-friendly version that works well if you want to introduce younger members of the group to the category of rides before attempting the outdoor coasters. Hit Adventure Land first, in the opening hour, before the heat and the queues combine to make the day less enjoyable than it should be.

    2

Snow Town — real snow in the middle of Bangkok's heat

Snow Town is the most genuinely surprising thing in any Bangkok theme park, and the most commonly misunderstood one. It is not a light-up winter display or a photograph set. It is an enclosed room maintained at −5°C with real artificial snow on the floor, snow walls, and dedicated zones for sled runs, snowball throwing, and snow play. The temperature difference between the park outside and Snow Town is approximately 40 degrees on a typical Bangkok afternoon. Your body takes a moment to process this. Jackets and boots are available to rent at the entrance — approximately ฿50–100, payable separately, socks required. If you have never seen snow before, this is an experience disproportionate to its price. Many Thai visitors come to Dream World specifically for Snow Town — it is genuinely popular among local families for this reason, not just as a novelty for international tourists. The best time to visit Snow Town is in the afternoon, after you have done the outdoor rides and the Bangkok heat has reached its peak between 13:00 and 15:00. Walking into −5°C when you are hot and slightly sunburned is one of the more satisfying experiences the park offers. Children need warm layers underneath the rental jackets — the cold is real and sustained, not a brief air-conditioned moment. Plan approximately 30–60 minutes in Snow Town depending on your group's enthusiasm for snow-related activities. Some guests stay considerably longer.

    3

Fantasy Land — families, characters, and the Haunted Mansion

Fantasy Land is the zone built for families with younger children, and it functions well for exactly this audience. The rides are gentler — carousels, family coasters, interactive water play zones — and the scale is appropriate for children who are not yet ready for Adventure Land's serious machinery. The theming is storybook: bright colours, oversized character figures, decorated facades that look like they belong in a children's illustration. Older children tend to pass through Fantasy Land quickly on their way to and from the main coasters, but for families with children under 8 or 9, this zone provides several hours of accessible entertainment without the height restrictions and intensity of the rest of the park. The Haunted Mansion sits on the border between Fantasy Land and Adventure Land in terms of suitability — it is a walk-through attraction with theatrical scares rather than a ride, and it is appropriate for most children above 7 or 8 years old. The effects are well-executed: darkness, sound, sudden illuminated figures, and the specific category of tension that comes from not being able to see clearly. Children who enjoy spooky stories tend to find it excellent. Children who frighten easily should probably skip it, as there is no exit midway through. The Colors of the World Parade is the primary scheduled entertainment in the Fantasy Land area — costumed characters from various cultural backgrounds parade through the zone at specific times. It runs daily and is the recommended show for families with young children, as opposed to the more adult-oriented Hollywood Action Show.

    4

Dream Garden — the slow part of the day, done well

Dream Garden is Dream World's scenic zone — the part of the park that exists for guests who need a rest from the rides without being bored. It is genuinely attractive: manicured landscapes, ornamental fountains, swan pedal boats on an artificial lake, and a series of miniature replicas of international landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Pyramid of Giza, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and others. The miniatures are well-executed rather than tokenistic, and they provide the park's best photography backdrop if you want images that look less like a theme park visit and more like an architectural tour. The swan boats on the lake are a peaceful interlude — quiet, slow-moving, and giving you a perspective on the park from the water. This is where the park's atmosphere shifts most clearly from the noise and adrenaline of Adventure Land to something more relaxed. The animal farm sits at the edge of Dream Garden and offers a brief interaction with farm animals — goats, rabbits, and small pigs in a supervised enclosure. This is the gentlest attraction in the park and works best for very young children who are overwhelmed by the scale of the ride zones. Dream Garden is the right place for lunch — there are seating areas with shade, the pace of people around you slows down, and you have a natural view. The food outlets here are more relaxed than the ones near the main ride queues, and the tables have more room.

    5

The Hollywood Action Show and the end of the day

The Hollywood Action Show is a 25-minute live stunt performance that runs on weekends and public holidays at scheduled times — check the main information board at the park entrance when you arrive, as the schedule varies. The show is set in a purpose-built outdoor arena and features a narrative involving a police team and a criminal gang, with practical stunts: car chases on a small track, controlled explosions, fire effects, and staged fights with real-time action choreography. It is not subtle, but it is genuinely well-produced for a theme park show and it engages most audiences regardless of age. The sound system is loud, the effects are visible from a distance, and the pacing keeps attention throughout the 25 minutes. The Colors of the World Parade is the other main scheduled entertainment — it runs daily and circles through Fantasy Land. It features costumed performers representing different nationalities and cultures, with music and character interactions. It is the better choice for families with young children who want a show with recognisable character energy rather than stunt action. By late afternoon, the approach to closing time has a specific texture at Dream World: queues at the major rides shorten as guests start making their way out, the parade may run a final circuit, and the outdoor zones cool slightly as the sun drops. If you have the private transfer add-on, your driver will collect you from the main gate at the time you confirmed — and the 45–60 minute return drive to central Bangkok gives everyone in your group the specific contentment of a day well spent.

    Is This Right for You?

Families with children of all ages

Dream World's four zones cover every age group in a single park. Young children have Fantasy Land and the Animal Farm. Older children and teenagers have Adventure Land's full coaster lineup and the Go-Kart track. Adults have the Tornado, Hurricane, and Sky Coaster. Snow Town works for everyone. Very few Bangkok attractions provide this range across a single day without compromise.

    Indian families and groups

Dream World is consistently popular with Indian family groups visiting Bangkok — the combination of rides, Snow Town (real snow is a novelty for most Indian visitors), live shows, and the enclosed character of the park as a single-day destination suits the group holiday format well. International buffet lunch is available at the Food Pavilion Restaurant inside the park at additional charge. The private transfer at ฿2,500 for up to 9 people is especially cost-effective for larger Indian family groups.

    Thrill-seekers and ride enthusiasts

Sky Coaster, Tornado (7 storeys, 75 km/h), Hurricane (20-metre vertical), and Grand Canyon water ride are in the top tier of Bangkok theme park rides. Dream World is a full-size amusement park, not a small attraction — if your priority is riding serious coasters and water rides for a full day, this is the right venue. Safari World is the alternative, but it offers animal shows rather than rides — a completely different experience.

Guests who want a contrast day from temples and markets

If your Bangkok itinerary has included the Grand Palace, floating market, Kanchanaburi, and other cultural or historical experiences, Dream World provides a complete change of pace — pure entertainment, no cultural context required, full-day format. It works particularly well as a day for children in a group who need a break from adult-paced sightseeing.

    What Our Guests Say

"We booked for 6 people including our parents and two children. The private transfer at ฿2,500 was excellent value for our group — far cheaper than two Grabs. Snow Town was the highlight for everyone, including our parents who had never seen real snow. The Tornado was terrifying for the teenagers in the best way. We were there from 10:00 to 17:00 and genuinely ran out of time to do everything. The Hollywood Action Show on Saturday was very entertaining. Trip Thai Tour had the tickets ready and the booking was confirmed within 30 minutes of our WhatsApp message."

    T
    The Patel FamilyAhmedabad, IndiaFamily

"We did Dream World on a Wednesday — the weekday timing was the right call, the queues for Sky Coaster and Tornado were maybe 10 minutes each. Snow Town is genuinely cold and genuinely fun — we stayed about 45 minutes in there. Dream Garden was a nice midday break when the heat was at its worst. The ฿900 ticket price is very good value for a full day including all the major rides. We booked transport separately via Grab both ways which was fine, but for a group the ฿2,500 private transfer would be much simpler."

    E
Emma & David W.Auckland, New ZealandCouple

"Dream World was the best day of our Bangkok trip for the children. Four kids aged 6 to 14 — the younger two loved Fantasy Land and Snow Town, the older two did every coaster in Adventure Land twice. The park is big enough that we never felt rushed or crowded. Very good value at ฿1,100 per person with the Super Visa. We will plan this earlier in the week next time to avoid the weekend crowds."

The ฿1,100 Dream World Super Visa covers unlimited access to all rides and attractions in the park for the full day — including Sky Coaster, Tornado, Hurricane, Grand Canyon, Super Splash, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Bump Cars, Go-Karts, Swan Boats, and Snow Town. All live shows are included: the Hollywood Action Show (weekends/holidays) and the Colors of the World Parade (daily).

The only exclusions are carnival games (ring toss, shooting games — these are pay-per-play at a few baht each) and food and drinks. Snow Town jacket and boot rental is approximately ฿50–100, paid directly at the Snow Town entrance.

Dream World is 35 kilometres north of central Bangkok in Thanyaburi, Pathum Thani. The drive takes 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. There is no direct BTS or MRT connection to the park.

Options: (1) Private transfer through Trip Thai Tour — ฿2,500 per vehicle for up to 9 passengers, round trip, hotel to park and back. (2) Grab or taxi — approximately ฿250–350 each way per vehicle. For groups of 3 or more, the private transfer is more cost-effective and removes the hassle of arranging return transport.

Dream World is open daily. Weekdays (Monday–Friday): 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekends and public holidays: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Arrive as close to 10:00 AM as possible to maximise your time and hit the popular rides before queues build. Weekday visits are significantly less crowded than weekends.

Snow Town is an enclosed indoor zone maintained at −5°C with real artificial snow. It includes a sled run, snowball throwing area, and snow play zones. Snow jackets and boots are available for rent at the Snow Town entrance for approximately ฿50–100 — socks are required.

Snow Town is one of Dream World's most popular attractions for both Thai visitors and international tourists, as it offers a genuine sub-zero snow experience in tropical Bangkok. Plan approximately 30–60 minutes. Save it for the afternoon when the outdoor heat is at its peak — the temperature contrast is at its most enjoyable then.

Yes — Dream World has dedicated family and children's zones in Fantasy Land with age-appropriate rides, an Animal Farm, and character shows. The Colors of the World Parade runs daily and is well-suited for young children.

Height restrictions apply to the major coasters: Sky Coaster, Tornado, and Hurricane typically require a minimum height of around 120 cm. Children below this height are still well-catered for in Fantasy Land and Snow Town. Check restrictions at each ride entrance.

The Hollywood Action Show is a 25-minute live stunt performance featuring car chases, explosions, fire effects, and staged combat in a dedicated outdoor arena. It runs on weekends and public holidays at specific scheduled times — check the information board at the park entrance when you arrive.

It is one of the most popular shows at Dream World and worth timing your visit around on weekend days. The Colors of the World Parade (daily) is the alternative for families with young children.

The private transfer is ฿2,500 per vehicle for up to 9 passengers — round trip from your Bangkok hotel to Dream World and back. Your driver collects from your hotel at a time you confirm with us, drops you at the park entrance, and returns to collect you at park closing time (or an agreed earlier time).

The transfer cost is per vehicle, not per person. For a group of 6 that is ฿417 per person — significantly cheaper than Grab both ways for each individual. Book by adding the transfer when you message us on WhatsApp.

They are different experiences and serve different interests. Dream World is a theme park with 40+ rides, Snow Town, and live stunt shows — the right choice if your group wants coasters, water rides, and a full-day entertainment format.

Safari World is a wildlife park with a drive-through open savanna, 6 live animal shows, and an Indian buffet lunch — the right choice if your group wants animals, shows, and nature. See our Safari World page for comparison. Many Bangkok visitors do both on separate days.

Outside food and drinks are generally not permitted inside Dream World. The park has multiple food outlets, restaurants, and snack stalls throughout all four zones. Budget approximately ฿150–300 per person for a meal inside the park.

The Food Pavilion Restaurant offers an international buffet at additional charge. Standard food outlets serve Thai food, snacks, and drinks at typical theme park prices.

Comfortable walking shoes are essential — the park is large and you will cover significant distance. Light, breathable clothing for the outdoor zones. Swimwear or a change of clothes if you plan to ride the Grand Canyon or Super Splash water rides, as these will soak you thoroughly.

For Snow Town: bring socks (required) and a light warm layer underneath the rental jacket. The rental jackets provided at Snow Town are sufficient for most people, but your own additional layer makes the experience more comfortable.

Weekdays are significantly less crowded than weekends. Arrive at 10:00 AM when the park opens to ride Sky Coaster, Tornado, and Hurricane before the queues build. Between 12:00 and 15:00, the outdoor heat peaks — use this window for Snow Town, indoor attractions, and lunch.

Weekend visits are busier but the Hollywood Action Show runs on weekends, which weekday visitors miss. If the show is important to your group, a weekend visit is the trade-off.

A cancellation fee of 100% applies if the booking is cancelled 2 days (48 hours) or less before the visit date. For cancellations made more than 2 days in advance, please contact us via WhatsApp to arrange a refund or reschedule.

We do not cancel confirmed bookings due to low numbers. Your booking runs as confirmed.
