Safari World Bangkok — Full Day Tour with Indian Buffet & Private Van Safari
Last updated: April 2026

The giraffe is taller than you expected. It walks up to your van window — your van, your family inside, no strangers — tilts its head, and looks directly at you. You are 40 kilometres from Bangkok. In this moment you could be anywhere in Africa.
Our Safari World full-day tour includes Safari Park and Marine Park entry, all 6 live animal shows, Indian buffet lunch at Savanna Restaurant, and your own private van for the Safari Zone drive-through so your group controls exactly how long you stop with each animal. No park coach. No rush. No hidden costs at the gate.
Book with Trip Thai Tour from ฿1,100 per person — tickets plus Indian buffet, arrange your own transport — or ฿1,500 per person with shared hotel pickup from Bangkok city area. Private car and van transfers also available. Open Tuesday to Sunday. Closed every Monday.

Safari World Bangkok — Full Day Tour with Indian Buffet & Private Van Safari
Drive through open savanna in your own private van, watch 6 live animal shows, and eat Indian buffet lunch — all in one full day from Bangkok. From ฿1,100 per person. Closed Mondays.
Highlights:
- Drive through the open Safari Zone in your own private van — lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras roaming freely on both sides. Stop wherever you want, for as long as you want. No park coach, no fixed route.
- Giraffes up to 5.5 metres approach vehicle windows directly in the Grasslands Zone. The moment a giraffe tilts its head and looks your child in the eye from two metres away is the photograph people talk about for years.
- All 6 live shows included: Orangutan Show (10:20 AM — weekdays once only), Sea Lion Show, Elephant Show, Dolphin Show (1:45 PM — the most acclaimed show, arrive 15 minutes early), Spy War stunt show (2:45 PM), Bird Show (3:40 PM).
- Indian buffet at Savanna Restaurant included in all packages — dal makhani, paneer, curry, samosas, rice, naan, desserts. Full vegetarian and non-vegetarian. No searching for food. No ฿400 bottles of water.
- The Dolphin Show at Safari World is consistently rated by Indian families as the best dolphin show in Southeast Asia. Arrive at the arena at least 15 minutes before showtime for a good seat.
- Critical timing: the Orangutan Show runs ONCE on weekdays — at 10:20 AM. This single fact is the reason we do 8:00 AM hotel pickup. Miss this show and it is gone until the weekend.
- Closed every Monday. Open Tuesday to Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is the most commonly overlooked detail in Safari World reviews — and the one we are most upfront about.
- Children under 100 cm enter free. Children over 140 cm pay adult price. Giraffe feeding is ฿200/person (since January 2025) — one bucket of feed included per person.

Safari World Bangkok is the best full-day family activity in Bangkok — and the one most consistently recommended by Indian families who have visited Thailand before. Two hundred acres of open wildlife, six live animal shows, and an Indian buffet that removes the biggest anxiety of the day: what will we eat.
The difference between our tour and every other Safari World option available is one thing: your vehicle drives through the Safari Zone independently. Not the park's shared coach on a fixed route at a fixed pace. Your group, your van, your decisions. When a giraffe walks up to your window, the experience is yours — not shared with forty strangers.

- Safari World Bangkok is CLOSED every Monday — no exceptions. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

- Giraffe feeding terrace costs ฿200 per person (since January 2025) with one bucket of feed included. This is an on-site extra, not included in any package — budget accordingly.
- The park's safari coach (฿100/person) is charged by Safari World to walk-in visitors without a vehicle. Guests on our SIC join tour and private transfer packages drive the Safari Zone in their own vehicle and do not pay this charge.
- Shows at Marine Park are narrated in Thai. The visual performances are spectacular regardless of commentary language — all families report this is not a significant issue.
- Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the park. Lunch is included in your package; bring a water bottle if possible as in-park drinks are priced at a premium.
- Hotel pickup for the SIC join tour is from Bangkok city area only — Sukhumvit, Silom, Siam, Pratunam, Ratchadamri, and surrounding areas.
- The park covers 200 acres — comfortable walking shoes are essential. The Spy War and Bird shows are outdoors; bring a hat and sunscreen.
What to Bring — Don't Forget These
- • ✅ Comfortable walking shoes — the park is 200 acres and you will walk significant ground between shows

- • ✅ Light, breathable clothing — Bangkok heat plus full-day outdoor activity

- • ✅ Cash for on-site extras — Giraffe feeding ฿200, River Safari ฿300, Tiger Cub photo approximately ฿500
- • ✅ A small bag to carry belongings between shows
- • 💡 TIMING TIP: Walk straight from the Safari Zone exit to the Orangutan Show arena on weekday visits. It runs once at 10:20 AM. Every review that mentions regret at Safari World mentions arriving too late for this show.
- • 💡 DOLPHIN SHOW TIP: Arrive at the Dolphin arena at least 15 minutes before 1:45 PM. It fills up faster than any other show. The front rows get wet — sit mid-arena for the best view without the splash.

What Actually Happens
Hotel pickup at 8:00 AM — the timing sequence that determines your whole day
Your vehicle arrives at your Bangkok hotel lobby at 8:00 AM. The drive to Safari World covers approximately 40 kilometres to Khlong Sam Wa and takes 45 to 60 minutes depending on morning traffic. You arrive at the park gates between 9:00 and 9:30 AM. This departure time is not a preference. It is the operational requirement for the day to work. On any weekday — Tuesday through Friday — the Orangutan Show at Marine Park runs once, at 10:20 AM, and only once. There is no afternoon repeat. To catch it, you need to complete the 8-kilometre Safari Zone drive-through, approximately 45 minutes at a comfortable pace, and walk from the Safari Zone exit to the Orangutan arena before 10:20 AM. That sequence requires arriving at the park by 9:30 AM at the latest, which means leaving your hotel no later than 8:30 AM. Our 8:00 AM departure builds in a buffer for Bangkok's unpredictable morning traffic. Every review of Safari World Bangkok that mentions regret mentions the Orangutan Show. Visitors who arrived at 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, or 11:00 AM and found no second showing describe it as the one thing they would change. The fix is simple: 8:00 AM pickup. The night before your tour, your driver sends a WhatsApp message with their name and vehicle details. At 8:00 AM they are in your hotel lobby — not circling the car park, not calling from the gate. By the time families who booked later tours are finishing hotel breakfast, you have already covered 40 kilometres of Bangkok and are approaching the Safari World entrance. On weekends the Orangutan Show also runs at 3:30 PM, giving you a second window — but our 8:00 AM departure stays, because arriving early means the full show schedule works in your favour from the first minute rather than the last.
Safari Zone drive-through — 8 kilometres of open savanna in your own vehicle (9:30–10:15 AM)
Your vehicle enters the Safari Zone at approximately 9:30 AM. The route is 8 kilometres long, winding through three distinct wildlife zones. In the park's shared coach, this route takes a fixed 45 minutes with no stops. In your own vehicle, it takes as long as your family wants — which on most visits runs to 50 or 60 minutes, occasionally longer. The first zone is the Grasslands Zone. Here, a giraffe standing 5.5 metres tall — roughly the height of two storeys — walks toward your vehicle. Not behind glass. Not separated by a trench. Walking on the same road your tyres are on, at its own pace, with nothing between you. When a giraffe bends its neck to look through your window, you are close enough to see the scale of its neck reticulations, the detail of the hide pattern, and the specific curiosity of an animal that has decided your vehicle is worth investigating. These are reticulated giraffes — the tallest land animals on earth — and their 70-centimetre tongues wrap around the windows of vehicles that stop too close to the vegetation on the road's edge. Children in the back seat find themselves at eye level with an animal that is twice the height of the car they are sitting in. The instinct to reach out is immediate and universal, which is why feeding from the vehicle is not permitted — the Giraffe Feeding Terrace later in the day (฿200 per person) gives you that contact properly, face-to-face from an elevated platform. The Wetland Zone follows: open water, birds nesting in trees directly above the road, the relative quiet after the giraffe encounter. Then the Carnivore Zone, where windows must be fully closed. Bengal tigers from the lineage of India's Sundarbans region pace in open enclosures the road passes directly through. A full-grown Bengal male weighs up to 300 kilograms. When one walks past your car door at two metres, the glass between you feels entirely theoretical. In the park's shared coach, this moment is experienced from a fixed seat with 40 other passengers on a fixed schedule. In your own vehicle, it is two metres away, on your own timeline. This is the difference families describe when they say Safari World was the best day of their Bangkok trip.
Orangutan Show (10:20 AM) and Sea Lion Show (11:00 AM) — the morning sequence
You walk directly from the Safari Zone exit to the Orangutan Show arena. On weekdays this is a two-minute walk with a specific purpose: the show starts at 10:20 AM and there is no second performance until the weekend. The Orangutan Show surprises adults in a way the other shows do not. The Dolphin Show is spectacular. The Spy War is theatrical. But the Orangutan Show is the one that generates the longest review entries — because what you watch is not trained response. It is reasoning. Safari World's Bornean orangutans are among the most cognitively complex of all great apes. Researchers studying great ape intelligence have documented problem-solving capabilities in orangutans that are comparable to those of human children aged four to eight — including tool use, planning, and the ability to understand cause and effect across multiple steps. What the show presents is the natural expression of that intelligence channelled into tasks involving objects, sequences, and choices made in front of an audience. The orangutan does not simply respond to a cue. It pauses. It considers. It solves. The pause is the part that silences the audience. There are typically two or three orangutans performing, each demonstrating different capabilities. The audience interaction is unscripted enough that the same show on a Tuesday is not identical to the same show on a Thursday. Duration is approximately 25 minutes. Children are completely absorbed. Adults find themselves laughing at moments they did not expect to laugh. It is the show most often named in reviews as the unexpected highlight — by visitors who almost missed it because they arrived too late. At 11:00 AM, the Sea Lion Show begins in the adjacent arena. California sea lions — each weighing between 100 and 300 kilograms — perform water-based sequences of jumps, catches, and audience interactions with a physical comedy that crosses every language barrier. Duration approximately 20 minutes. Proceed from Sea Lion arena directly to the Elephant Show at 11:40 AM.
Elephant Show (11:40 AM) and Indian buffet at Savanna Restaurant — the heart of the day
The Elephant Show at 11:40 AM is the last formal morning show before lunch, and for Indian families it carries a cultural weight that other shows in the Marine Park schedule do not. Safari World's Asian elephants — the same species depicted in Thai royal iconography, in temple murals across Bangkok, and in the imagery your family has known since childhood through the connection to Ganesha — perform a sequence of demonstrations at close range that show physical dexterity, trained intelligence, and the depth of their relationship with their mahouts. These elephants paint on canvas with brushes held in their trunks. They lift objects smaller than their trunk tip should logically manage. They respond to mahout commands with the kind of precision that reflects years of relationship rather than simple conditioning. For Indian visitors, watching a Thai elephant working alongside its handler, in a country whose relationship with elephants parallels India's own, adds a layer to the experience that purely visual performance cannot provide. Duration approximately 25 minutes. The same 11:40 AM slot also runs the Cowboy Stunt Show in a separate arena — for families, the Elephant Show is the right choice. Savanna Restaurant opens for the Indian buffet at approximately noon. The restaurant is large, fully air-conditioned, and designed for the midday rest that every family needs after three hours of walking between zones and arenas. You sit down knowing exactly what you are about to eat. The buffet includes dal makhani, paneer butter masala, vegetable jalfrezi, chana masala, samosas, pilau rice, naan, raita, and seasonal Indian desserts. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian stations are clearly labelled and replenished continuously through the lunch service until approximately 2:00 PM. For families who have spent days in Bangkok searching for a familiar meal, navigating Thai menus with children who have strong preferences, or paying ฿400 for a bottle of water at a tourist attraction — this meal is described in reviews not as an amenity but as a relief. You know what it is. Your children know what it is. Lunch is completely solved, at noon, in an air-conditioned restaurant, halfway through the best family day in Bangkok.
Dolphin Show (1:45 PM), Spy War (2:45 PM), Bird Show (3:40 PM) — and return to your hotel
Arrive at the Dolphin Show arena by 1:30 PM — fifteen minutes before the 1:45 PM start. It fills faster than any other show at Marine Park. The front rows will get wet from the pool splash; sit mid-arena for the best view without the spray. Safari World's bottlenose dolphins perform a sequence of behaviours that are biomechanically extraordinary when you understand what is physically happening. A dolphin leaping 5 metres above the surface of the water from a standing start, landing with precision, and immediately positioning for the next sequence — this is a 150-kilogram animal performing at the absolute limit of what that anatomy can produce. Indian families who have also visited Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore consistently describe this show as the better experience — by the specific measures of arena proximity to the water, the visibility of behaviours from all seats, and the size of the pool relative to the performance space. Duration approximately 30 minutes. The Spy War Stunt Show at 2:45 PM is Thailand's most theatrical park production and the show families consistently describe as the biggest surprise. Motorcycles, jet skis, explosions, and live stunt sequences performed both on land and in water — an outdoor action production running 25 minutes with no animal involvement and no Thai narration required. Adults who expected a gentle late-afternoon show find themselves leaning forward. The Bird Show at 3:40 PM closes the formal schedule with free-flying macaws and birds of prey performing trained flight sequences over the audience — the full natural wingspan and speed of these animals visible from seats rather than through enclosure wire. In the gaps between afternoon shows, the Giraffe Feeding Terrace (฿200 per person) gives you a face-to-face encounter that the Safari Zone van window cannot — elevated platform, your hand, the giraffe's face at arm's length, and one full bucket of feed. The River Safari (฿300 per person, approximately 30 minutes) runs through the jungle waterway and is the right choice for young children who need a seated rest between arena walks. Your driver meets you at the main Safari World exit from 5:00 PM. The return to Bangkok takes 45 to 60 minutes depending on afternoon traffic. You are at your hotel between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. You left your hotel at 8:00 AM. In those nine hours you drove 8 kilometres of open savanna with a 5.5-metre giraffe at your window, watched six live animal shows from the Orangutan to the Spy War, ate a full Indian buffet at noon, and returned before Bangkok's evening rush. That is what a well-timed, fully planned full day looks like — and why every detail from the 8:00 AM pickup to the 1:30 PM Dolphin Show arrival matters.
Optional add-on — extend your day to Chocolate Ville for dinner (+฿600)
Safari World finishes between 4:30 and 5:00 PM. If your group still has energy left and you want the best possible Bangkok evening to follow the best possible Bangkok day, we offer a same-vehicle extension to Chocolate Ville — Bangkok's open-air European-style restaurant village in the Khan Na Yao district, located approximately 15 minutes from Safari World by car. The extension adds ฿600 to your private vehicle package. One driver, one vehicle, full day from 8:00 AM hotel pickup to a return drop-off before midnight. At 5:00 PM your driver collects you from the Safari World main exit and drives the short transfer to Chocolate Ville. You arrive at the village around 5:15 to 5:30 PM — late enough to be hungry after the full Safari World day, early enough to choose your restaurant before the peak seating window after 7 PM. Pay the ฿150 Chocolate Ville entry fee per person at the gate — ฿100 of that becomes a redeemable voucher inside for food, drinks, or ice cream. Real out-of-pocket entry is ฿50 per person. The village comes alive at dusk. Fairy lights and lanterns above the cobbled streets switch on around 6:30 PM. The lighthouse, the lake, and the European-style buildings light up against the darkening sky. The LED boat show on the lake and the daily snow show at the lighthouse square run several times each evening. Restaurants seat thousands across more than twenty venues — Thai, Italian, Japanese, steak houses, dessert specialists. Typical dinner spend ฿400 to ฿800 per person with drinks; your ฿100 entry voucher applies to your bill. Your driver waits in the Chocolate Ville car park for 3 to 4 hours while you eat and walk the village. When you are ready to leave — typically between 8:30 and 10:00 PM — send a WhatsApp message and your vehicle is at the gate within five minutes. The return to your Bangkok hotel takes 30 to 45 minutes. You are back at your hotel between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM after a full day that started at 8:00 AM, covered Safari World's 200 acres and six shows, and finished with dinner in Bangkok's most photographed evening village. See our Chocolate Ville page for the standalone evening option and full details. WhatsApp +66 89 949 6235 to add the extension to your Safari World booking.
Is This Right for You?
✦ Indian families visiting Bangkok
Yes — Safari World Bangkok is the single most popular full-day Bangkok activity for Indian families, and the reasons are specific: the Indian buffet is genuine and included in every package, the Safari Zone in a private van is unlike anything available in India, and the six live shows fill a complete day for children of all ages. Our SIC join tour at ฿1,500/person is significantly more affordable than what most Indian travel agents charge for the same experience — and unlike agent-arranged packages, we do not cancel due to low group numbers.
✦ Families with young children
Yes — this is one of the best full-day Bangkok activities for children of all ages including infants. Children under 100 cm enter free. Toddlers experience the Safari Zone from the safety of their car seat. Children aged 4 and above are captivated by the Dolphin Show and Orangutan Show. The timing sequence matters for young families: catch the Orangutan Show at 10:20 AM, Dolphin Show at 1:45 PM, and the most exciting shows are done before 3:00 PM — before young children tire. The Giraffe Feeding Terrace (฿200/person) is consistently described by parents as the moment their children remember longest. Strollers are available to rent inside the park.
✦ Groups of 4 or more
For groups of 4 or more, the private car or van package often works out to a similar or lower cost per person than the SIC join tour — with a significantly better experience. A family of 5: ฿2,500 (private car) + ฿1,100 × 5 (tickets + buffet) = ฿8,000 total, or ฿1,600 per person. That is ฿100 more per person than the SIC join tour — but with a completely private vehicle, flexible timing, and your own Safari Zone drive at your pace. For groups of 6 or more using a private van (฿3,000): ฿3,000 ÷ 6 = ฿500 transport per person, plus ฿1,100 tickets = ฿1,600 per person — the same as the SIC join tour but entirely private. Contact us via WhatsApp with your group size and we will calculate the exact comparison for you.
✦ Is Monday really closed — and what if my only free day is Monday?
Yes — Safari World Bangkok is closed every Monday without exception, every week of the year. There is no workaround. If your Bangkok itinerary only has one free weekday and it is a Monday, Safari World must move to another day or be replaced. Monday in Bangkok is an excellent day for the Grand Palace and Wat Pho (open daily), Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (open daily), or Ayutthaya (open daily). When you book with Trip Thai Tour, we confirm your date and flag Monday closures immediately — you will never arrive at a closed gate.
✦ Do I really get my own van for the Safari Zone — or does it join the park coach route?
Your van drives the Safari Zone completely independently — it does not join the park's shared coach route and does not follow a fixed pace or fixed stops. The park charges walk-in visitors ฿100 per person to use the shared safari coach. Guests with their own vehicle — our private car, private van, or SIC join tour transfer vehicle — drive through on their own schedule. This is the single most important difference between booking a private transfer and arriving independently. The shared coach cannot stop. It completes the route in a fixed 45 minutes regardless of what the animals are doing. A private vehicle stops when you want, as long as you want. When a giraffe approaches your window, you are still there.
✦ What about the shows being in Thai?
Every Marine Park show is narrated by Thai-language hosts. This is a park limitation, not ours, and it is worth knowing before you go rather than being surprised on the day. The honest answer from thousands of reviews: it does not significantly affect the experience. The Dolphin Show, Sea Lion Show, and Spy War stunt show are visually self-explanatory and spectacular at any language. The Orangutan Show and Elephant Show have audience interaction moments that are funny regardless of commentary. Come for the spectacle — the narration adds context but the show works without it.
✦ How does our price compare to walk-in counter?
Walk-in counter at Safari World sells a combined Safari Park + Marine Park ticket. Our ฿1,100 ticket-only package includes the Indian buffet lunch on top of full park entry — making it better value than the walk-in counter before you factor in any transport costs. Our SIC join tour at ฿1,500/person includes tickets, Indian buffet, and round-trip hotel transfer from Bangkok city area. Arranging the equivalent independently — walk-in tickets, buffet separately if offered, and a return taxi from central Bangkok — would cost more per person with no guarantee on timing, no guide, and no support if something goes wrong.
What Our Guests Say
"The best day of our Bangkok trip. Kids are still talking about the giraffe coming to our van window. Dolphin show was incredible — better than Sentosa. The Indian buffet was a relief — proper dal, paneer, everything. No stress about food for once."
"Booked the private car package. Worth every baht. We spent 20 minutes with the giraffes and nobody rushed us. The Orangutan show was the surprise of the trip — we laughed so much. Lunch was good, vegetarian was clearly marked. Smooth from start to finish."
"We went with 6 people so the private van made sense. Chatree told us to go to the Orangutan show first — good advice, we would have missed it. The driver waited all day and the return was on time. Kids already asking when we come back to Bangkok."

Questions
Safari World Bangkok is a 200-acre wildlife park located approximately 40 km northeast of central Bangkok, open Tuesday to Sunday (closed every Monday). It is divided into two sections: Safari Park — a drive-through open reserve where lions, tigers, giraffes, zebras, and hundreds of other animals roam freely around your vehicle — and Marine Park — a full entertainment complex with six live animal shows, giraffe feeding, a river safari, and the Indian buffet restaurant.
It is consistently ranked as the top full-day family activity in Bangkok, particularly popular with Indian families for its included Indian buffet and full-day value. According to Safari World's official site, the park has welcomed visitors since 1988 across its 480-acre total grounds.
Booking online with Trip Thai Tour: our Ticket Only package (Safari Park + Marine Park + Indian buffet) is ฿1,100 per person — you arrange your own transport. Our SIC join tour (tickets + Indian buffet + shared hotel pickup from Bangkok city area) is ฿1,500 per person. Private car transfer ฿2,500/vehicle. Private van ฿3,000/vehicle — tickets added separately at ฿1,100/person.
Children under 100 cm in height enter Safari World free of charge. Children over 140 cm pay adult price. The park's safari coach for visitors without their own vehicle costs ฿100/person extra — this does not apply to Trip Thai Tour guests whose vehicle drives the Safari Zone directly.
Yes — Safari World Bangkok is closed every Monday without exception. The park is open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Safari Park closes at 4:30 PM on weekdays). Plan your Bangkok itinerary so that Safari World falls on any day Tuesday to Sunday.
When you book with Trip Thai Tour, we confirm your date and flag Monday closures before payment — you will never arrive at a closed gate.
The Orangutan Show starts at 10:20 AM. On weekdays (Tuesday to Friday) this is the only slot — there is no second performance. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday) there is an additional show at 3:30 PM.
This is the reason we pick up from Bangkok hotels at 8:00 AM. Arriving at the park by 9:00–9:15 AM, completing the Safari Zone drive by 10:10 AM, and walking directly to the Orangutan arena gives you enough time to catch the 10:20 AM show on a weekday. Departing later makes this impossible.
Yes — the Indian buffet at Savanna Restaurant is included in all Trip Thai Tour packages: the ticket-only package, the SIC join tour, and the private transfer packages. It is not an add-on and there is no extra charge at the restaurant.
The buffet at Savanna Restaurant includes dal makhani, paneer dishes, vegetable curry, samosas, naan, rice, and seasonal Indian desserts. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are clearly labelled and continuously replenished during the lunch period (approximately 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM). Families who have visited multiple Bangkok attractions consistently rate the Safari World buffet as the most stress-free meal of their trip.
Guests on Trip Thai Tour packages drive the Safari Zone in their own vehicle — not the park's shared coach. This applies to both the private car/van packages and the SIC join tour (where your transfer vehicle drives the zone).
The park charges walk-in visitors ฿100/person to use the shared safari coach, which follows a fixed route at a fixed pace with no stops. In your own vehicle, you stop when you want and stay as long as you want. When a giraffe approaches your window, the experience is entirely yours. This is the most significant practical difference between booking with us and arriving independently.
The Marine Park show schedule: Orangutan Show 10:20 AM, Sea Lion Show 11:00 AM, Elephant Show or Cowboy Stunt Show 11:40 AM (same time slot — choose one), Dolphin Show 1:45 PM, Spy War Stunt Show 2:45 PM, Bird Show 3:40 PM.
Our recommended sequence: catch the Orangutan Show first (10:20 AM — weekdays once only), then rotate through Sea Lion, lunch, Dolphin (arrive 15 minutes early), Spy War, and Bird Show. The Dolphin Show fills fastest — arrive at the arena by 1:30 PM for a good seat.
Giraffe feeding at the Savanna Giraffe Terrace costs ฿200 per person (since January 2025). One bucket of feed is included per person. This is an on-site extra, payable at the terrace — it is not included in any package.
The Giraffe Feeding Terrace gives you an elevated platform to hand-feed giraffes face-to-face — a completely different experience from watching them through the van window during the Safari Zone drive-through. For families with children, this is consistently described as the highlight of the day. Budget ฿200 per person if you plan to include it.
Safari World is located at 99 Panya Indra Road, Khlong Sam Wa, approximately 40 km northeast of central Bangkok. The journey takes approximately 45–60 minutes by car depending on morning traffic.
A one-way Grab from Sukhumvit to Safari World costs approximately ฿300–500 and cannot wait for you during your visit. Our SIC join tour and private transfer packages include round-trip hotel pickup and drop-off — removing all transport logistics for the day.
Yes — Safari World is suitable for all ages including infants. Children under 100 cm in height enter free. Strollers are available to rent inside the park. The Safari Zone drive-through is experienced entirely from the vehicle, making it safe and comfortable for infants.
For young children, the recommended highlights are: the giraffe moment in the Safari Zone (from car seat), the Orangutan Show at 10:20 AM, the Dolphin Show at 1:45 PM, and the Giraffe Feeding Terrace if you want a hands-on moment. Complete these before 3:00 PM and most young children handle the full day well.
Safari World fills a complete day — 8:00 AM hotel pickup to 5:00–6:00 PM return — so it works best as a standalone day in your Bangkok itinerary.
For multi-day Bangkok itineraries, Safari World pairs naturally with a temple day (Grand Palace and Wat Pho) on a separate day, and the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market on another morning. See our Bangkok family packages for full multi-day itineraries that include Safari World as part of a complete Bangkok experience.
A cancellation fee of 100% applies if the booking is cancelled 2 days (48 hours) or less before the tour date. For cancellations made more than 2 days in advance, please contact us via WhatsApp to arrange a refund or reschedule.
Unlike OTA join tours that cancel bookings when group numbers are insufficient, we do not cancel confirmed bookings. Your tour runs as confirmed.
Yes — and this is one of our most popular combinations. Safari World finishes at approximately 4:30 to 5:00 PM, and Chocolate Ville is approximately 15 minutes away by car in the same northeast Bangkok area (Khan Na Yao district). For an additional ฿600 per vehicle on top of your Safari World private package, the same driver and vehicle take you from Safari World directly to Chocolate Ville for dinner, wait while you eat and walk the village, and return you to your Bangkok hotel before midnight.
One driver, one vehicle, full day from 8:00 AM hotel pickup to 9:00–10:00 PM hotel return. ฿150 Chocolate Ville entry is paid directly at the gate by each guest (฿100 of that is redeemable inside for food, drinks or activities). See our Chocolate Ville page for full details, or WhatsApp +66 89 949 6235 to add the extension to your Safari World booking.
The Chocolate Ville entry fee is ฿150 per person, paid directly at the village gate when you arrive. It is not added to our Safari World combo price — you pay it on-site. Of that ฿150, exactly ฿100 becomes a voucher redeemable inside the village during the same visit. The voucher can be applied to food at a restaurant, drinks at a kiosk, ice cream, popcorn, or one of the venue's small activities. Your real out-of-pocket entry cost is ฿50 per person.
We explain this honestly upfront because every visitor asks the same question on arrival. Hand the voucher to your restaurant server when you ask for the cheque — they apply ฿100 to your bill. Each guest applies their own ฿100 voucher; vouchers cannot be combined across a table.
