Tarzan Adventure Pattaya — Zipline 25 Platforms + ATV Trail

The 25-platform Full Course at Tarzan Adventure Pattaya is ฿1,450 per person with us, against the park's ฿2,000 walk-in gate price. The zipline plus the 30-minute ATV trail is ฿2,600 as a combo, where the same two bought separately at the gate come to ฿3,500. The ATV on its own is ฿1,200 and the children's 7-platform course for ages 4 to 7 is ฿600.

Hotel transfers are not included by the park in any of those prices. We run a private air-conditioned vehicle door to door for ฿2,500, charged once per vehicle for up to 10 people rather than per person — so for a group of four it works out at ฿625 each, and for six it is under ฿420 each. Everything is quoted in Thai baht and shown in USD in the booking form at the live exchange rate.

The Full Course requires you to be 8 years or older, at least 130 cm tall and under 100 kg. All three are enforced at the desk — the park measures and, where there is doubt, weighs, because the harness sizing and brake blocks are rated to those figures. Children aged 4 to 7 ride the separate 7-platform Kids Course instead. The ATV trail is restricted to riders aged 15 and over with no exceptions, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at the park.

This is the single most common way people waste a morning here, because a walk-in ticket is not refunded when someone fails the check. We ask for the age, height and weight of everyone in your group at the time of booking and confirm in writing exactly which activities each person can do before you pay anything. If a child is close to 130 cm, tell us the real number rather than a hopeful one.

The Full Course is 25 platforms and takes 50 to 60 minutes from the first line to the last, plus about 25 minutes beforehand for check-in, harness fitting and the ground-level practice run. The Kids Course is 7 platforms and takes 15 to 20 minutes. The ATV adds roughly 30 minutes for two laps of the trail circuit.

Door to door from a central Pattaya hotel, budget around 3 hours for the zipline alone and closer to 3 hours 30 for the combo, including 35 to 45 minutes of driving each way. From Jomtien it is about 2 hours 30, and from Na Jomtien or Bang Saray closer to 2 hours. That is why a 09:00 departure still gets you back to your hotel comfortably before lunch.

The park is at 108/14 Moo 6, Na Jomtien, Sattahip District, Chonburi 20250 — roughly 20 km south of central Pattaya, past Jomtien Beach, on the road that continues to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and the Khao Chi Chan Buddha Mountain. Na Jomtien is administratively part of Sattahip rather than Pattaya, which is why public transport connections are poor and songthaews do not run a useful route out there.

Realistically you need a vehicle. Our private round-trip transfer is ฿2,500 for the whole vehicle, up to 10 people, collected from your hotel door and returned to it, with the driver waiting through your session rather than dropping and leaving. Widely advertised transfer-included deals collect only from the Pattaya Beach and Na Kluea zones on a shared fixed timetable, so check whether your hotel actually qualifies before assuming you are covered.

The park runs seven fixed departures a day: 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00. Opening hours are 08:30 to 17:00 daily and check-in closes 15 minutes before your slot. The 16:00 is genuinely the last departure — arriving at 16:20 means you do not go, and there is no discretion on this at the desk.

We recommend the 09:00 or the 16:00. The recurring criticism of this park is that guides move groups along quickly with little time for photographs, and that is almost entirely a midday problem — the 11:00, 13:00 and 14:00 slots carry the most people. The 09:00 is also the coolest hour of the operating day, which matters more than you would expect when you are climbing tower stairs in a harness.

You wear a full-body harness, a helmet and gloves, and you are attached to the system by two independent carabiners at all times — on the cable while riding, and on the tower's safety line while on a platform. Both are never off simultaneously, and a guide performs every clip and unclip rather than leaving it to you. Guides travel with the group throughout rather than waiting at the ends. Insurance provided by the park operator covers every participant and is included in the ticket price, so there is no separate waiver fee at the counter.

Before anyone goes up, everybody rides a practice line about a metre off the ground to learn the seated position and the braking hand. The towers are timber and they flex under load — several public reviews mention this and it is worth knowing in advance. A structure that moves slightly is behaving as designed. If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, spinal problems, a recent bone or joint injury, or you are pregnant, this activity is not suitable.

Children aged 4 to 7 have their own 7-platform course, run lower to the ground with its own guide and child-sized harnesses. It takes 15 to 20 minutes and costs ฿600 with us. It runs at the same time as the adults' Full Course, so a family with a 6-year-old and an 11-year-old can do both simultaneously and finish together rather than taking turns.

Children aged 8 and over do not use the kids course — they go on the full 25-platform circuit provided they clear 130 cm, clipped to the same cables as the adults. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at the park. If your child is on the borderline of either the age or the height rule, give us the exact figures at booking and we will confirm which course they will be put on before you pay.

Closed shoes with a back — trainers are ideal, and sandals, flip-flops and open-toed shoes are turned away at the desk. Wear shorts or trousers you can sit in comfortably inside a harness, and avoid very short shorts and loose baggy clothing, which the leg loops catch. Tie back long hair and use a strap for glasses. Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and a change of shirt because you will sweat through the one you arrive in.

Bottled drinking water is already included in your ticket. Nothing loose goes on the line, so a phone needs a wrist or chest strap if you want photographs, and bags, wallets and anything in your pockets go into storage at check-in. Bring some cash in baht — the café and Korean restaurant on site do not run on cards, and neither do any extras you buy on the day.

At ฿2,600 against ฿3,500 for the same two bought at the gate, the combo saves ฿900 and it is the reason most people book this page rather than a zipline-only listing. Almost every other listing for this park sells the zipline on its own, which means adding the ATV becomes a separate conversation at the counter at the ฿1,500 walk-in price. The two run back to back at the same site with no second transfer and no second booking.

Be clear-eyed about what the ATV is, though. It is two laps of a dirt trail circuit, roughly 30 minutes on the machine — a well-judged add-on rather than an expedition. Dedicated off-road operators elsewhere in Pattaya run two-hour plantation and jungle tours from around ฿1,999 if a longer ride is what you actually want. And the 15-and-over rule is firm, so a family with younger children should book the Full Course for everyone and the ATV only for those who qualify.

It is, and we would rather say so than hide it. The park's walk-in price for the 7-platform Kids Course is ฿500 and we charge ฿600. The ฿100 pays for us to book, confirm and hold the child's slot against the same departure as the adults, so the family runs together and nobody is standing at the desk trying to arrange a separate session while the rest of the group is being harnessed.

If you would rather pay the park directly for that one line, tell us and we will take it off your booking — you can buy it at the counter on the day. We publish the gate price next to ours on every package in the table above, including this one, because a price comparison you can only win by hiding half the numbers is not worth having.

Tarzan Adventure also operates elephant rides on the same site, alongside a shooting range and a couple of other activities. We do not sell them, we will not add them to your booking, and they are not part of any package on this page. There is at least one public one-star review objecting to how the elephants are kept there. We have not inspected that operation ourselves and will not vouch for it in either direction — we simply do not book it.

If elephants are what you came to Thailand for, we send you to the sanctuary at Khao Mai Kaeo instead, where the programme is observation, feeding and bathing with no riding at all. We are not certain, and we would rather tell you that than guess. This park appears online under several names — Tarzan Adventure Pattaya, Pattaya Tarzan Extreme Park and Tarzan Trail — and some listings advertise courses of 15, 32 or 58 stations at prices between ฿1,300 and ฿3,200, which do not match the course structure in our agreement with the operator.

Our signed contract with Tarzan Adventure Pattaya Co., Ltd. covers exactly three things: the 25-platform Full Course, the 7-platform Kids Course, and the ATV trail. Those are what we sell, what we have rates for and what we can guarantee will be waiting for you at the desk. If you specifically want a longer station count you have seen advertised elsewhere, message us on WhatsApp before booking and we will check with the operator whether it exists at this site rather than sell you something and hope it works out.

Light rain does not stop the course — you get wet and the lines run. Thunderstorms do stop it, because lightning and a steel cable strung between towers are a genuinely bad combination, and the park suspends sessions until it passes. Rain also makes the ATV trail slick, and staff will slow the pace or hold that part of the session, which is the right call even when it is frustrating.

If the park cancels your session for weather, you choose between a free date change and a full refund — you are not left holding an unusable ticket. If a storm passes and the session simply runs late, we hold your driver at the park so you are not stranded. Pattaya's wet season runs roughly May to October with most rain falling in short heavy afternoon bursts, which is another argument for the 09:00 departure.

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice. That window is what lets us confirm your departure slot with the park, run the age, height and weight check for everyone in your group and get you a written answer, and assign a driver to the right pickup time. The park's own reservation line runs 08:00 to 21:00 seven days a week, so a booking made the previous afternoon is comfortable.
