For roughly four seconds you are moving faster than you agreed to. Then the brake block takes you, a second guide catches your ankles on the far deck, and the whole thing becomes very funny.

That is the Full Course at Tarzan Adventure Pattaya, and it is the most substantial zipline circuit within easy reach of the city. But before any of the fun happens, three numbers decide whether you get on the wire at all: 130 centimetres, 100 kilograms, and 8 years old. A fourth — 15 years — decides whether you get on the ATV. The park checks all of them at the desk, it does not negotiate, and it does not refund a walk-in ticket when somebody fails.

Yes, the Kids Course line is negative. The park's walk-in price for the children's 7-platform course is ฿500 and we charge ฿600. The extra ฿100 buys the booking, the confirmation and the held slot against the same departure as the adults, so the family runs together instead of one parent standing at the desk trying to arrange a separate session while everyone else is being harnessed. If you would rather pay the park directly for that one line, say so and we take it off your booking. We print it either way, because a price comparison you can only win by hiding half the numbers is not worth having.
The combo is the line that matters. Almost every listing for this park sells the zipline on its own, which means adding the ATV becomes a conversation at the counter at ฿1,500. Booked together it is ฿2,600 for both — the strongest-value option on the page and the reason most people book it.
A worked total. Two adults on the Full Course with the private transfer: ฿1,450 × 2 + ฿2,500 = ฿5,400 all in. A family of four where both children are over 8 and clear 130 cm: ฿1,450 × 4 + ฿2,500 = ฿8,300. Because the vehicle is one price for up to 10 people, the per-person transfer cost falls as the group grows — six people share it at ฿417 each, ten at ฿250.

The 130 cm / 100 kg / 15-Year Rules — Read This Before You Book Anything
This is the section that saves mornings, so it comes before the fun.
Full Course: 8 years and over, minimum height 130 cm, maximum weight under 100 kg.
Kids Course: ages 4 to 7 only.
ATV trail: riders 15 and over, no exceptions.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at the park.
The park applies these at the check-in desk. Staff look at every child against the height mark and, where there is genuine doubt about an adult, use the scale. This is not officiousness — harness sizing and brake blocks are engineered to those figures, and a rider outside them is a real problem on a steel cable.
The failure mode is brutally simple and it happens weekly. A family arrives with tickets bought elsewhere, one child measures 126 cm, and there is no refund on a walk-in ticket. They have travelled 20 km for nothing.
It is why our booking form asks for the age, height and weight of everyone riding before you pay, and why we confirm in writing which activities each person qualifies for. If a child is close to 130 cm, give us the real number rather than a hopeful one — we would rather move you to a different activity than take money for a morning you cannot use.
The ATV rule catches more people than the height rule. Parents book the combo for the whole family and only discover at the ATV bay that the 13-year-old cannot ride. The right structure for a mixed-age group is the Full Course for everyone and the ATV added only for those aged 15 and over.
The medical exclusions are the standard ones and they are not decorative: not suitable during pregnancy, or with a heart condition, high blood pressure, spinal problems, or a recent bone or joint injury. If you are unsure, ask a doctor before you book rather than a guide at the tower.
What the 25-Platform Full Course Is Actually Like
Check-in and the harness. You arrive 15 minutes before your slot, clear the measurement check, and a guide fits you with a full-body harness, helmet and gloves, pulling every strap tighter than feels necessary. It should feel tight. You are then walked to a practice line strung about a metre off the ground, where you sit into the harness, learn where your braking hand goes and where it absolutely does not, and ride four metres. Everyone does this. It takes about ten minutes and it is why the rest of the morning runs smoothly.
Platforms one to eight. The course opens deliberately gently — low towers, short spans, the point being to convert theory into muscle memory before you are high enough to care. A guide clips two carabiners on, always two, never both off at once, gives the same instruction he will give twenty-four more times, and lets go. There is a guide on the landing deck who catches you, unclips, re-clips you to the tower's safety line and walks you to the next departure. That handover is the rhythm of the whole course and you stop noticing it by platform five. Somewhere around six or seven the thing changes character: you stop bracing and start looking sideways.
Platforms nine to eighteen. From here the course uses the terrain rather than just crossing it. Rope sky bridges link some towers — planked walkways with a cable handrail that swing underfoot far more unnervingly than the ziplines, because on a zipline you are cargo and on a bridge you make decisions. There are abseil descents where a guide lowers you vertically on a rope through a friction device, one of them a genuine drop of around 15 metres. The longest spans on the course are through here, in the higher canopy, long enough to give you several seconds of quiet.
This is also where fitness shows up. You climb tower stairs between sections in Thai heat, and the bottled water in your ticket is not a token gesture. Drink it here rather than saving it.
Platforms nineteen to twenty-five. The last third is the payoff. The finishing lines are the longest and fastest, running downhill along the slope, and by now you have enough control to enjoy speed rather than survive it. You brake properly, you land on your feet, and you start hoping the answer to "how many left?" is more rather than fewer. Total elapsed time from the first platform is usually 50 minutes to an hour.
The ATV Trail — What ฿1,200 Buys and What It Doesn't
If you booked the combo, you do not leave. You walk across to the ATV bay, swap the climbing harness for a helmet, and take a short handling briefing on a machine that is genuinely simple: thumb throttle, two brakes, automatic transmission, no gears.
The circuit is a dirt trail through the back of the park's land, and you ride two laps of it — roughly 30 minutes on the machine.
Here is the honest framing. This is not a wilderness expedition. Dedicated off-road operators elsewhere in Pattaya run two-hour plantation and jungle tours from around ฿1,999, and that is a different, longer, better product if a long ride is what you actually want. What Tarzan Adventure offers is a well-judged half hour of mud and noise bolted onto the end of an hour on a wire, in the same place, with no second transfer and no second booking to arrange.
That is the entire argument for the combo, and at ฿2,600 against a ฿3,500 gate it is a good one. You are already there, already muddy, already committed.
Two practical notes. The 15-and-over rule is firm. And trails get slick after rain — staff will slow the pace or hold the session if conditions are poor, which is the correct call even when it is disappointing.
The Kids Course — Ages 4 to 7
The children's course is 7 platforms, run closer to the ground, with its own guide and child-sized harnesses. It takes 15 to 20 minutes and it is for ages 4 to 7 only.
The detail that makes it worth booking rather than skipping is the timing: it runs at the same time as the adults' Full Course. A family with a 6-year-old and an 11-year-old does both simultaneously and finishes together, rather than one parent sitting on a bench for an hour while the other has the fun.
A child of 8 or over does not use this course. They go on the full 25-platform circuit, clipped to the same cables as the adults, provided they clear 130 cm. In practice this is one of the genuinely good things about the park — a qualifying 8-year-old is not fobbed off with a junior version. They do the real thing and come off it visibly proud.

Which Departure Time to Book (and Why Midday Is the Wrong Answer)
The park is open 08:30 to 17:00 daily and runs seven fixed departures: 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00. Check-in closes 15 minutes before your slot, and 16:00 is the genuine last departure — arriving at 16:20 means you do not go.
Book the 09:00 or the 16:00.
The most common criticism this park receives is that guides move groups along quickly with little standing time on the decks for photographs. One public review puts it plainly: the guide "kept me separate from my friend and moved us at a fast pace."
That is a throughput problem, not a rudeness problem, and it is almost entirely confined to the busy midday departures — 11:00, 13:00 and 14:00 carry the most people. The 09:00 and 16:00 slots are consistently the quietest, which is the actual fix.
The 09:00 has a second advantage: it is the coolest hour of the operating day. That matters more than you would expect when you are climbing tower stairs in a harness in Chonburi in April. It also gets you back to your hotel comfortably before lunch, leaving the afternoon intact.
If you want photographs, bring a phone on a wrist or chest strap. A loose phone will not be allowed on the line at all, and neither will anything in your pockets.
Getting There — Why "Free Transfer Included" Probably Doesn't Include You
Tarzan Adventure Pattaya is at 108/14 Moo 6, Na Jomtien, Sattahip District, Chonburi 20250 — about 20 km south of central Pattaya, past Jomtien Beach, on the road that continues to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and the Khao Chi Chan Buddha Mountain.
The geography matters. Na Chom Thian is administratively part of Sattahip District rather than Pattaya, and the area has noticeably poorer connections than Jomtien immediately to its north. Songthaews do not run a useful route out there. You need a vehicle.
Which brings us to the transfer claim you will see attached to the cheapest listings. "Free hotel transfer included" means Pattaya Beach and Na Kluea. Two zones. It is a shared minibus on a fixed timetable, and if you are staying in Jomtien, Na Jomtien, Pratumnak, Wongamat or Bang Saray — a large part of the southern hotel strip, and the part closest to the park — you do not qualify. You pay for a taxi anyway, and the headline price was never the real price.
Our transfer is ฿2,500 for the whole vehicle, up to 10 people, charged once rather than per person. Air-conditioned, collected from your hotel door anywhere in the Pattaya area and returned to it, with the driver waiting at the park through your session rather than dropping and leaving. Drive times run 35–45 minutes from central Pattaya and Naklua, 20–25 from Jomtien, and under 15 from Na Jomtien and Bang Saray.
Timing matters more than distance here, and it runs backwards. We set the pickup from your departure slot and the 15-minute check-in cut-off, not forwards from whenever you finish breakfast.
The Name Problem — Tarzan Adventure, Tarzan Extreme Park, Tarzan Trail
This deserves its own section because it causes real booking errors.
Search for a Pattaya zipline and you will find this park listed under at least three names — Tarzan Adventure Pattaya, Pattaya Tarzan Extreme Park and Tarzan Trail — with listings variously advertising courses of 15, 26, 32 or 58 stations at prices ranging from ฿1,300 to ฿3,200. Some of those listings share this park's address. Others do not obviously match its course structure at all.
We are not going to pretend to certainty we do not have. Our signed agreement with Tarzan Adventure Pattaya Co., Ltd. covers exactly three products: the 25-platform Full Course, the 7-platform Kids Course, and the ATV trail. Those are what we sell, what we hold contracted rates for, and what we can guarantee will be waiting at the desk with your name on it.

We will check with the operator whether it exists at this site rather than sell you something and hope it works out on the day. The Elephant Rides — What We Won't Book and Why
Tarzan Adventure also operates elephant rides on the same site, alongside a shooting range.
Trip Thai Tour does not sell them. We will not add them to your booking, and they are not part of any package we offer at this park.
There is at least one public one-star review of the venue objecting to how the elephants there are kept. We have not inspected that operation ourselves and we are not going to vouch for it in either direction — asserting either that it is fine or that it is cruel would be us guessing in public about animals we have not seen. What we can tell you is what we do, which is not book it, and we would rather you knew before you arrived than felt misled when you got there.
If elephants are what you came to Thailand for, we send people to the sanctuary at Khao Mai Kaeo, about 25 minutes away, where the programme is observation, feeding and bathing with no riding at all. What to Wear and Bring
- Closed shoes with a back. Trainers are ideal. Sandals, flip-flops and open-toed shoes are refused at the desk — this is the second most common reason people are turned away.
- Shorts or trousers you can sit in. Avoid very short shorts and loose baggy clothing; the leg loops catch both.
- A hair tie for long hair and a strap for glasses.
- A phone on a wrist or chest strap if you want photos. Nothing loose goes on the line.
- Insect repellent and sunscreen.
- Cash in baht. The café and Korean restaurant on site do not run on cards.
- A change of shirt. You will sweat through the one you arrive in.
Bottled drinking water is already included in your ticket. Bags, wallets and pocket contents go into storage at check-in — bring as little as possible and leave valuables at the hotel.
Rain, Storms and the Wet Season
Light rain does not stop the course. You get wet, the lines run, and honestly it is more fun.
Thunderstorms stop it, and they should: lightning and a steel cable strung between timber towers are a genuinely bad combination. The park suspends sessions until the weather passes. Rain also makes the ATV trail slick, and staff will slow or hold that portion.
If the park cancels your session for weather, you choose between a free date change and a full refund. You are not left holding an unusable ticket. If a storm passes and the session simply runs late, we hold your driver at the park so you are not stranded in Na Jomtien at dusk looking for a taxi.
Pattaya's wet season runs roughly May to October, with most rain arriving in short heavy afternoon bursts rather than all-day drizzle. That pattern is one more argument for the 09:00 departure.
Making a Day of It — Nong Nooch, Buddha Mountain, Tiger Park
Na Jomtien is a comfortable half day rather than a whole one, and the road out there passes some of Pattaya's better attractions.
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is about 10 minutes further along the same road — gardens, the cultural show and the dinosaur valley. A 09:00 zipline and an afternoon at Nong Nooch is an unhurried private-car day with no second transfer to pay for, and it is the pairing we book most often.
Khao Chi Chan (Buddha Mountain), a 130-metre gold-inlaid Buddha carved into a cliff face, is a similar distance and costs about twenty minutes of your time.
Tiger Park Pattaya is roughly 30 minutes north and pairs neatly with a 16:00 zipline slot if you would rather start the day with the animals and finish on the wire.

Is It Worth It? An Honest Verdict
The park sits at 4.3 out of 5 from 412 Google reviews (checked August 2026), and its TripAdvisor listing carries a smaller sample at 4.0. Reading through the criticism rather than the praise, three complaints recur, and all three are true:
It is tiring. Stair climbs in heat, an hour in a harness, and most people are pleasantly sore the next day.
The towers move. They are timber and they are designed to. A deck that gives underfoot is behaving correctly.
Midday groups get moved along. Real, and fixable by booking 09:00 or 16:00.
None of those are reasons not to go. They are reasons to go with accurate expectations, which is the entire point of this guide. What you get for ฿1,450 is a genuinely long course — 25 platforms is substantial by Thai standards, and at roughly 55 minutes it lasts long enough to stop being frightening and start being fun. That transition, somewhere around platform seven, is the thing people actually remember.
Who should skip it: anyone pregnant, anyone with a heart, blood-pressure, spinal or recent joint problem, anyone over 100 kg, and anyone whose idea of a good morning is a leisurely walk with a camera. If you want the forest without the adrenaline, Nong Nooch is ten minutes down the same road and considerably more photogenic.
Everyone else — book the 09:00, take the combo, and give us everyone's height before you pay.

If elephants are what you came for, we send you to the sanctuary at Khao Mai Kaeo instead, where the programme is observation, feeding and bathing with no riding at all.
At least 24 hours. That window lets us confirm your departure slot with the park, run the age, height and weight check for everyone in your group and get you a written answer, and assign a driver to the right pickup time. The park's own reservation line runs 08:00 to 21:00 seven days a week, so a booking made the previous afternoon is comfortable. Same-day is sometimes possible for the later slots, but the 16:00 last departure and the 15-minute check-in cut-off leave no margin for a transfer that sets off late.
