Pattaya is a city of short drives that are miserable on foot. The Sanctuary of Truth is fifteen minutes north, Big Buddha Hill ten minutes south, Nong Nooch twenty-five minutes down the Sukhumvit road — none of it far, all of it unpleasant in 34°C with a songthaew driver quoting you a new price at every corner. Book a private car at disposal in Pattaya from Trip Thai Tour and the whole problem disappears: one vehicle, one driver, eight hours, and every one of those stops becomes a single easy loop.

The price is flat and it is per vehicle: ฿3,000 for a van seating up to 10 passengers, or ฿2,500 for an SUV seating up to 4. For a family of six that is ฿500 each for an entire day of private transport; for ten it is ฿300 each. Fuel is included, your driver's whole day is included, and there is no kilometre counter and no charge for stopping. Compare that with the local market, where a van typically runs ฿500 per hour — ฿4,000 for the same eight hours — and where the cheap ฿1,200 offers turn out to be a single round trip to one venue, not a day at your disposal.

Pattaya also rewards an unusual start time, and we let you pick any. Begin at two in the afternoon and you get the Sanctuary of Truth in the good light, sunset from Pratumnak viewpoint, dinner, and an Alcazar cabaret or Walking Street evening with your driver waiting outside — all inside the same eight hours. Extra hours are ฿400 for the van and ฿300 for the SUV if the night runs long. Book on WhatsApp +66 89 949 6235 — we confirm in minutes.

Price: 2500 THB
Duration: 8 hours

Tour Program

Hotel pickup at the time you choose

Your driver arrives at your hotel door with the vehicle already cold

His name, phone number and plate number were sent to you by WhatsApp the night before.

Agree the day, or don't

Tell the driver roughly where you want to start

Pattaya is small enough that plans change constantly, and that costs nothing here.

Stop as often as you like

Sanctuary of Truth, Big Buddha Hill, Nong Nooch, the Floating Market, Terminal 21, Jomtien Beach, Pratumnak viewpoint — unlimited stops, no per-stop fee

Your driver waits, you don't

At every stop the vehicle parks and waits

Beach gear, shopping and bags stay locked inside rather than carried around all day.

Lunch where you want it

Halal-friendly, vegetarian, Indian and Western options all arranged on request — never a restaurant that pays commission

Sunset and evening if you want them

Pratumnak viewpoint at golden hour, dinner on the beach road, then an Alcazar cabaret or Walking Street with the car outside

Extra hours if you want them

Decide around the seven-hour mark

Extra hours are ฿400 (van) or ฿300 (SUV), settled directly with the driver.

Drop-off at your hotel door

Back where you started, 8 hours after pickup

Getting around Pattaya is the single most complained-about part of a Pattaya holiday, and it is entirely a solved problem. The baht-bus songthaews that run the Beach Road and Second Road loop are genuinely cheap at ฿10–20 a ride if you are going where they already go, but the moment you want the Sanctuary of Truth, Nong Nooch or the Floating Market, the same vehicle becomes a private charter and the driver quotes a number that changes depending on how you look. Metered taxis barely exist. Ride-hailing works, but you rebook it at every stop, and in the rain or at closing time you are standing outside with your shopping waiting for a car that may not come.

A vehicle at your disposal removes all of it. You pay once, in advance, at a price you agreed while sitting calmly at your hotel rather than standing on a hot pavement negotiating. The driver takes you to six places if you want six places. He waits outside the Sanctuary of Truth while you spend ninety minutes there, waits at Bali Hai Pier while you spend the day on a Coral Island boat, and waits outside the restaurant while you eat. Because Pattaya's attractions cluster within a fifteen-to-twenty-five minute radius, eight hours here genuinely covers a lot more ground than eight hours in Bangkok.

The one thing we will not do is pretend your driver is a guide. Under Thailand's Tourism Business and Guide Act B.E. 2551, guiding tourists without a licence carries penalties of up to ฿500,000 or two years' imprisonment, and the work is reserved for Thai nationals. Your driver speaks working English, knows Pattaya properly and will recommend restaurants happily — but if you want the Sanctuary of Truth's carvings explained, and it is the one Pattaya attraction that genuinely repays a guide, add a licensed guide for ฿2,500 for the day. We would rather say that plainly than sell you a driver reciting half-remembered history.

Please note - Read Important (Click to expand)
  • The price is per vehicle, not per person: ฿2,500 for the SUV (max 4 passengers) or ฿3,000 for the van (max 10 passengers). Adding people costs nothing until you exceed the vehicle's capacity.
  • Your 8 hours start at hotel pickup and end at hotel drop-off. Extra hours are ฿400 (van) or ฿300 (SUV), agreed with your driver on the day and settled directly.
  • This service covers Pattaya City, Jomtien, Na Jomtien, Naklua, Wongamat and Pratumnak. Bangkok, the airports, Rayong and Koh Chang piers are separate route-priced transfers — message us on WhatsApp before you book.
  • Please send your plan at least 24 hours ahead so we can check availability, assign your driver and confirm. Nothing is charged until we confirm your day. Weekends and Thai public holidays fill faster.
  • Your driver is a professional driver, not a licensed tour guide. He speaks working English and knows Pattaya well, but Thai law reserves guiding for licensed guides. Add a licensed guide for ฿2,500 per day if you want commentary.
  • Evening starts are welcome and popular here — tell us at booking if you want a 13:00 or 14:00 pickup so the day runs through sunset and a show rather than finishing mid-afternoon.
  • Temples enforce a dress code — shoulders and knees covered at the Sanctuary of Truth and Big Buddha Hill. Bring a scarf or light layer.

What to Bring — Don't Forget These

  • Cash in Thai Baht for entry fees, parking, lunch and markets — many stalls do not take cards
  • A scarf or light layer that covers shoulders and knees for the Sanctuary of Truth and Big Buddha Hill
  • Swimwear and a towel if the day includes Jomtien Beach or a Coral Island boat — leave everything else in the vehicle
  • Sunscreen, a hat and a refillable water bottle — Pattaya runs 30–35°C most of the year
  • Your hotel name and room number for the driver, and a phone with WhatsApp for the day
  • A light jacket if you are staying out for an evening cabaret — the theatres are aggressively air-conditioned

    • The waiting time is inside your 8 hours at no extra cost.

    Why Choose Us?

    ♾️
No kilometre cap and no per-stop charge
Pattaya is compact enough that a good day means six or seven stops, and every competing model punishes exactly that. Songthaews renegotiate at each corner; packaged 'car at disposal' deals cap the kilometres. Ours does neither
    💸
One flat price for the whole vehicle
฿3,000 for a 10-seat van or ฿2,500 for a 4-seat SUV, not a per-person fare. The local hourly market runs about ฿500/hour for a van, which is ฿4,000 for the same eight hours
    🌅
Any start time you like, including afternoon-into-evening
begin at 14:00 for the Sanctuary of Truth in good light, sunset at Pratumnak, dinner and a cabaret show, with the car waiting through all of it. Most operators only sell a fixed morning slot
Your car waits at Bali Hai Pier
if you are taking a Coral Island boat day, the driver drops you at the pier and is there when you come back, with dry clothes and bags safe in the vehicle. No scramble for a taxi in wet swimwear
    Also included in your booking:
    • 🏨 True door-to-door service — hotel lobby to hotel lobby across Pattaya, Jomtien, Naklua, Wongamat and Pratumnak, with no outer-zone surcharge and no meeting point to find
    • 🕗 The clock starts when you do — your eight hours begin when we pull away from your hotel, not when the driver left the depot. Extra hours are ฿400 (van) or ฿300 (SUV) at the normal rate, never a late-night penalty
    • 🚫 No forced shopping stops — no gem gallery, no latex showroom, no jewellery 'factory' where the driver earns a commission for parking you in a sales room. The only stops are the ones you ask for
    • ✅ TAT Licensed operator No. 14/04232 — independently verifiable at tourismthailand.org, rated 4.0 from 186 reviews, with your driver's name and plate number sent by WhatsApp the night before

    💸 What ฿2,500 / ฿3,000 Actually Buys — The Honest Math

    What Actually Happens

    1

How the 8-Hour Clock Works — and Why Afternoon Starts Suit Pattaya

Your driver arrives at your hotel door at whatever time you choose. The night before, you receive a WhatsApp message with his name, his mobile number and the vehicle's plate, so nobody stands in a lobby guessing. The eight hours begin when you pull away from the hotel — not when the driver left the depot, and not when he arrived in your car park. A 09:00 pickup means a 17:00 drop-off, door to door, and everything in between belongs to you. Pattaya is unusual among Thai destinations in that a morning start is often the wrong choice. Most of what people come here for is better later. The Sanctuary of Truth photographs far better in the afternoon when the light rakes across the carvings, and its sunset session is a genuinely different experience. Pratumnak viewpoint is a sunset spot. The night markets, the beach-road restaurants and the cabaret shows are all evening events. So a 13:00 or 14:00 pickup gives you the Sanctuary in good light, sunset over the bay, dinner, and an Alcazar cabaret or a Walking Street wander with your driver parked outside, all inside the same eight hours you would otherwise have burned in the midday heat. We let you pick any start time precisely because of this, and it is worth saying that most operators do not — the standard product in this market is a fixed morning slot, because that is what suits the operator's fleet rather than the customer's day. If you want a split day instead, that also works: morning stops, back to the hotel for a rest through the worst of the afternoon heat, then out again for the evening. The clock keeps running during the rest, but for many families that is a fair trade for not melting. Around the seven-hour mark your driver will ask whether you want to finish or continue. Extra hours are ฿400 for the van and ฿300 for the SUV, decided right there and settled directly with him. There is no late-night premium, which matters in a city where the good part of the day frequently starts at eight in the evening.

    2

Van or SUV — Which One You Actually Need

The SUV costs ฿2,500 and carries up to 4 passengers. The van costs ฿3,000 and carries up to 10. Since the gap is ฿500 for a whole day, the van is the better buy far more often than the seat count alone suggests. Take the SUV if you are a couple, a solo traveller, or three or four adults travelling light. For two people, ฿2,500 works out at ฿1,250 each for an entire day of private transport with a driver — less than a couple would spend on four or five negotiated songthaew charters, and with none of the arguing. It also parks more easily in central Pattaya, where the streets around Second Road and the Walking Street end get genuinely tight in the evening. Take the van if there are five or more of you, if you are travelling with grandparents or small children, or if the day involves the beach. Ten seats means nobody is wedged in, and the space behind the back row holds beach gear, towels, shopping and a cool box without anyone holding anything on their lap. For a family of six the van is ฿500 per person for the whole day; for ten it is ฿300 each, which is less than most people spend on two songthaew charters. The van is also the right call if your day includes a boat — you can leave dry clothes, phones and bags locked in the vehicle at Bali Hai Pier rather than carrying them onto a wet speedboat. The seat numbers are real limits, not optimistic ones. Ten adults with ten suitcases will not fit comfortably; if you are moving hotels or arriving with full luggage rather than day bags, count your group as one or two people larger and tell us at booking. If your group is bigger than ten, message us on WhatsApp and we will quote two vehicles or a minibus. We would far rather send the right vehicle than have people standing in a driveway with a luggage problem.

    3

What Actually Fits Into Eight Hours in Pattaya

Pattaya's real advantage is density. Almost everything worth seeing sits within a ten-to-twenty-five minute drive of Beach Road, which means eight hours here covers noticeably more than eight hours in Bangkok. Six or seven stops is a normal day rather than an ambitious one. The north loop takes you to the Sanctuary of Truth in Naklua (฿500 day, ฿700 sunset), an all-teak carved temple that is the one genuinely world-class thing in Pattaya, then back through Naklua's seafood market and Terminal 21 for lunch and shopping. The south loop runs to Big Buddha Hill on Pratumnak (free, ten minutes from Central Pattaya, with the best free view in the city), then down to Jomtien Beach, then out to Nong Nooch Tropical Garden (from ฿950 with tram and cultural show, about twenty-five minutes south). Add the Pattaya Floating Market (฿300 adult, ฿200 child including a boat ride) on the way back and you have a full, varied day. The boat day is where the disposal model quietly shines. Your driver drops you at Bali Hai Pier for a Coral Island trip, waits through the day with your bags and dry clothes locked in the vehicle, and collects you when the boat comes in. Anyone who has stood on that pier at four in the afternoon in wet swimwear trying to find a ride understands exactly what that is worth. What does not fit: Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi, Rayong and the Koh Chang ferry piers are all outside this product's zone. They are separate route-priced transfers rather than an upsell — message us and we will quote them properly, because a day trip to Bangkok and back is a ten-to-twelve hour job that deserves its own price.

    4

The Honest Price — What Is In, What Is Not, and the Overtime Math

The number you are quoted is the number you pay us, and there is exactly one way it changes: if you keep the vehicle beyond eight hours. Inside the price: the vehicle, the driver's full day, and every litre of fuel with no kilometre cap inside the Pattaya area. That last point matters more than it sounds, because the standard failure mode of cheap Pattaya transport is precisely this: the ฿1,200 offers you will find advertised are a single round trip to one venue, not a day at your disposal, and the difference only becomes clear when you ask for a second stop. Outside the price: attraction entry, parking, food, and the optional guide. Entry fees are paid at each gate — Sanctuary of Truth ฿500 for the day session or ฿700 at sunset, Pattaya Floating Market ฿300 for adults and ฿200 for children including a boat ride, Nong Nooch from ฿950 with the tram and cultural show. A great deal of Pattaya costs nothing at the door, though: Big Buddha Hill, Pratumnak viewpoint, every beach and the night markets are all free. Parking runs ฿20–100 and is paid as incurred, and Terminal 21 and most malls are free for the first few hours. Lunch is yours to choose at roughly ฿150–500 per person, and your driver will take you to halal-friendly, vegetarian, Indian or Western food on request rather than to a restaurant paying him a kickback. The overtime math is deliberately boring: ฿400 per extra hour for the van, ฿300 for the SUV, charged in whole hours and agreed on the day. There is no evening premium and no minimum extension — which is the point, in a city where a cabaret show finishes at half past nine and the natural question is whether you can keep the car. You can, and you will know the cost before you say yes. For comparison, the local market rate for a van is roughly ฿500 an hour, meaning eight hours at market would be ฿4,000 against our ฿3,000.

    5

Your Driver, Your Guide, and the Difference Between Them

Your driver is a professional Thai driver who knows Pattaya properly — which road into Naklua is moving, where a van can actually park near the Sanctuary of Truth, which seafood place on the Naklua side is worth the detour and which one exists purely to catch tourists. He speaks working English: enough for times, directions, recommendations and friendly conversation, with WhatsApp translation on his phone for anything harder. He is not a tour guide, and we say so deliberately. This is a legal matter rather than modesty. Under Thailand's Tourism Business and Guide Act B.E. 2551, guiding tourists without a licence is an offence carrying penalties of up to ฿500,000 or two years' imprisonment, and guiding is reserved for Thai nationals. A great many operators quietly let drivers narrate anyway, which exposes the driver to real risk and gives you history of uncertain quality. We would rather be straight with you about what you are buying. If you do want commentary, add a licensed English-speaking guide for ฿2,500 for the whole day — for the group, not per person. In Pattaya there is one attraction where this genuinely transforms the visit, and that is the Sanctuary of Truth. Unguided, it is a spectacular but bewildering wooden building covered in thousands of carvings. Guided, the four wings resolve into a readable cosmology — Hindu and Buddhist figures, the Ramakien, the elements, and the founder's argument about human dependence on the natural world. Guests routinely tell us it went from 'impressive' to 'the best thing we did in Thailand' once someone explained it. For the rest of a Pattaya day — beaches, malls, markets, a boat trip, dinner — a guide adds little, and most guests skip it happily. Nothing is lost either way, and the price of the vehicle does not change. What we will not do is quietly upsell you a 'guide' who is really a driver, or let you assume you are getting commentary we are not licensed to provide.

    Is This Right for You?

    Families and multi-generational groups

The van seats up to 10, so grandparents, parents and children travel together rather than splitting across songthaews nobody can coordinate. At ฿3,000 that is ฿500 per head for a family of six. Because there is no per-stop charge you can head back to the hotel when a toddler melts down, add an unplanned ice-cream stop, and let older relatives wait in air-conditioning while everyone else climbs Big Buddha Hill.

Indian families on a 'car at disposal' itinerary

If your agent's Thailand package promises 'car at disposal', this is that service without the small print — no kilometre cap, no re-routing charge, no fixed list of permitted stops. Your driver will take you to vegetarian, Jain-friendly or halal restaurants on request rather than a commission stop, and the 10-seat van suits the six-to-ten-person family groups that commonly travel from India. Booked direct, you pay ฿3,000 for the vehicle rather than a per-person markup buried in the package.

    Gulf and Malaysian family groups

Halal-friendly, vegetarian, Indian and Western food are all easily reached and your driver will route to them without fuss, pausing for prayer times whenever you ask. The private van means your family travels alone, women can dress comfortably for the Sanctuary of Truth and Big Buddha Hill, and the flat vehicle price suits the larger groups of six to ten common from the Gulf and Malaysia.

    Beach and island-boat days

Take the van, leave everything in it. Your driver drops you at Bali Hai Pier for a Coral Island trip and is waiting when the boat returns, with dry clothes, phones, shoes and shopping locked safely in the vehicle all day. The alternative — carrying valuables onto a wet speedboat, then hunting a ride home in swimwear at four in the afternoon — is the single most common complaint about Pattaya boat days.

    Couples wanting a sunset-and-show evening

Book the SUV at ฿2,500 and start at two in the afternoon. Sanctuary of Truth in the good light, sunset from Pratumnak viewpoint, dinner on the beach road, then an Alcazar cabaret with the car waiting outside the theatre. Eight hours covers all of it, and extra hours at ฿300 are there if the evening runs on. No fare negotiation at any point, and no walking back along Beach Road at eleven at night.

Travellers tired of negotiating every ride

Pattaya's songthaews are cheap on their fixed loop and expensive the moment you leave it, and the price is renegotiated at every corner. If the daily haggle is the part of Pattaya you dislike most, this removes it entirely: one price agreed in advance, from your hotel, for the whole day, with the same driver and the same vehicle from morning to night.

    What Our Guests Say

"Seven of us in the van for ฿3,000 — about ฿430 each for the whole day. Sanctuary of Truth, Big Buddha, Nong Nooch and the floating market, plus two food stops, and nobody counted kilometres. Our driver found pure vegetarian food twice without being asked twice. In Pattaya the songthaew haggling had been driving us mad; this ended it completely."

"Booked the van for a Coral Island day. The driver left us at Bali Hai Pier at nine and was there at four with all our dry clothes and bags still in the car. That alone was worth the money — last year we carried everything onto the boat and it was a disaster. He also took us for halal food in Naklua on the way back. Very easy, very honest."

Siti & Rahman K.Johor Bahru, MalaysiaFamily

"We started at 2pm instead of the morning, which nobody else offered. Sanctuary of Truth in beautiful late light, sunset at Pratumnak, dinner, then Alcazar with the car waiting outside the theatre. We ran 45 minutes over and paid ฿300 for the hour with no argument. Far better value than the ฿4,000 quotes we had from two other companies."

"Nine mates, one van, ฿3,000 for the day — ฿333 each. Golf in the morning, lunch, beach in the afternoon, out again in the evening. No taxis, no arguing, no one getting lost. The driver was patient with a fairly rowdy group and never once tried to steer us into a shop. We booked him again for the next day."

Private Car with Driver in Thailand — The Complete 5-City Guide

What 'car at disposal' really means, what eight hours realistically covers in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Samui and Chiang Mai, how our flat rate compares with the local market in each city, and the small print to watch for before you book anyone.

    Questions

A car at disposal means you hire the whole vehicle and its driver for a fixed block of time — here, 8 hours — rather than paying per journey or per person. The vehicle stays with you for the entire period: it takes you somewhere, waits while you are there, and takes you on to the next place, as many times as you like. It is the difference between buying a taxi ride and buying a driver's day.

The term comes from the Indian travel trade and appears in most Thailand holiday packages sold from India. The catch is that packaged versions almost always restrict it — a kilometre cap (often 80 km), a fixed itinerary, and re-routing charges if you deviate. Our version has none of those limits inside the Pattaya area: ฿2,500 for an SUV or ฿3,000 for a van, 8 hours, unlimited stops, fuel included.

No, and this is deliberate. You choose your vehicle, date, hours and passengers on this page, tell us roughly what you would like to do, and send it to us on WhatsApp. We then check the plan against the vehicle size, the hours and the route, confirm a driver is free on your date, and reply — usually within minutes during Thai business hours. Payment is arranged only once your day is confirmed.

We do it this way because a car at disposal is the one product we sell where your plan decides whether we can actually deliver the day. A route might leave the the Pattaya area zone, twelve stops might not fit into eight hours, a group might not fit the vehicle, or a licensed guide might be unavailable on that date. Taking your money first and discovering any of that afterwards means refunds and a ruined day. Checking first takes us a few minutes and means every confirmed booking is one we know we can run.

฿2,500 for an SUV carrying up to 4 passengers, or ฿3,000 for a van carrying up to 10 passengers, for 8 hours. That is a flat price for the whole vehicle, not a per-person fare — six people in the van pay ฿500 each for the entire day and ten people pay ฿300 each. The price includes your driver and all fuel with no kilometre cap inside the Pattaya area.

Not included are attraction entry fees, venue parking (usually ฿20–100), food, and the optional licensed English-speaking guide at ฿2,500 per day. Hours beyond the eighth are ฿400 for the van or ฿300 for the SUV. For comparison, the local hourly market rate for a van is around ฿500 per hour, which would be ฿4,000 for the same eight hours.

For a single hop along the Beach Road and Second Road loop, yes — a songthaew is ฿10–20 and nothing beats it. The moment you want somewhere off that loop, though, the same vehicle becomes a private charter and the price is negotiated fresh at every corner, usually at ฿300–500 a leg. Six stops in a day is easily ฿2,000–3,000 of separate negotiations, in the heat, with no boot to leave anything in.

The disposal model is cheaper the second you make more than about four stops, and it removes the haggling entirely. It also gives you something ride-hailing cannot: a vehicle that waits. Your bags, shopping and dry clothes stay locked in it all day, and there is no scramble for a car outside a venue at closing time or in the rain.

Yes, and in Pattaya we often recommend it. A 13:00 or 14:00 pickup gives you the Sanctuary of Truth in far better light, sunset from Pratumnak viewpoint, dinner, and a cabaret show or Walking Street evening with your driver parked outside — all inside the same eight hours you would otherwise spend in the midday heat.

Most operators here only sell a fixed morning slot because it suits their fleet rather than your day. We let you choose any start time. If the evening runs long, extra hours are ฿400 for the van or ฿300 for the SUV with no late-night premium, agreed on the spot with your driver.

No to both. Inside Pattaya, Jomtien, Naklua, Wongamat and Pratumnak you can visit as many places as you like, in any order, and change your mind as often as you like. There is no kilometre counter, no fixed list of permitted stops and no re-routing fee — the three limits buried in most packaged 'car at disposal' deals.

We can price it this way honestly because a vehicle waiting in a car park costs us almost the same as a vehicle driving. The only things that genuinely change our cost are time and leaving the area, so those are the only two things we charge for: extra hours beyond eight, and a separate quote if you want to travel outside the zone.

The SUV costs ฿2,500 and seats up to 4 passengers; the van costs ฿3,000 and seats up to 10. Since the gap is only ฿500 for a whole day, the van is usually the better value for any group of four or more, and it is the clear choice if you have grandparents, small children, or a beach day ahead — the space behind the back row takes beach gear, towels and shopping easily.

Take the SUV if you are a couple, a solo traveller or three or four adults travelling light. It parks more easily in central Pattaya, where the streets get tight in the evening. If your group is larger than 10, message us on WhatsApp and we will quote two vehicles or a minibus.

Yes, and it is one of the best uses of this service. Your driver drops you at Bali Hai Pier, waits through the day, and is there when your boat comes in — with your dry clothes, shoes, phones and shopping locked safely in the vehicle the whole time. The waiting is inside your eight hours at no extra cost.

Anyone who has stood on Bali Hai Pier at four in the afternoon in wet swimwear trying to find a ride understands what this is worth. If the boat runs late and you go past eight hours, the extra hour is ฿400 for the van or ฿300 for the SUV, settled with the driver directly.

The clock starts the moment your driver collects you at your hotel door and ends when he drops you back. It does not start when he left the depot — a common trick that quietly eats thirty to sixty minutes of a day you paid for. A 09:00 pickup means a 17:00 drop-off.

If you want longer, extra hours are ฿400 for the van and ฿300 for the SUV, charged in whole hours and agreed with your driver on the day. There is no advance commitment, no minimum extension and no evening premium. If you finish early there is no refund for unused hours, but there is also no pressure to use them.

This product covers Pattaya City, Jomtien, Na Jomtien, Naklua, Wongamat and Pratumnak. It does not cover Bangkok, Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Rayong or the Koh Chang ferry piers, and that is a deliberate limit rather than an upsell — a Bangkok run and back is a ten-to-twelve hour job that deserves its own price rather than being crammed into eight hours.

For any of those routes, message us on WhatsApp +66 89 949 6235 and we will quote a fixed price for the journey. We would rather give you an honest transfer price than sell you a disposal day that cannot actually do what you want.

Your driver speaks working English — enough for directions, timings, restaurant recommendations and friendly conversation — and carries a phone with WhatsApp translation for anything more complex. He knows Pattaya properly, including which road into Naklua is moving and where a van can actually park.

He will not narrate the Sanctuary of Truth, because Thai law does not allow it: under the Tourism Business and Guide Act B.E. 2551, guiding tourists without a licence carries penalties of up to ฿500,000 or two years' imprisonment. The Sanctuary is the one Pattaya attraction where a guide genuinely transforms the visit, turning thousands of bewildering carvings into a readable Hindu-Buddhist cosmology. Add a licensed guide for ฿2,500 for the day if you want that.

Fuel is included, with no kilometre cap inside the Pattaya area. You will never be asked to top up the tank or to pay for distance, however many times you cross town.

Venue and mall parking is not included and is paid as incurred, usually ฿20–100 for a few hours. In practice it rarely comes up, because Terminal 21 and most Pattaya malls give free parking for the first few hours, and Big Buddha Hill, the viewpoints and the beaches are free. Your driver will always tell you the amount before paying.

Yes, and it costs nothing extra. Tell us at booking or tell your driver on the day, and he will take you to genuinely good halal-friendly, vegetarian, Jain-friendly, Indian or Western food rather than a restaurant that pays him commission. Pattaya is well served for all of these, particularly around Central Pattaya and the Naklua side for seafood.

Lunch is not included in the price — budget roughly ฿150–500 per person. Your driver will also pause for prayer times whenever you ask and will wait as long as you need at any stop. There is no time pressure inside your eight hours.

Please book at least 24 hours in advance so we can assign a driver and confirm your pickup time. Weekends, Thai public holidays and the November–February high season fill faster, so 48–72 hours is safer then. If you want the licensed guide add-on, give us 48 hours where you can, as guides are subject to availability.

Same-day requests are sometimes possible — message us on WhatsApp +66 89 949 6235 and we will tell you honestly whether a vehicle is free. We will not accept a same-day booking we cannot properly staff.

Yes — the same flat rate applies in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui and Chiang Mai: ฿3,000 for a van up to 10 passengers, ฿2,500 for an SUV up to 4, for 8 hours with fuel included and door-to-door hotel pickup. Each city has its own page with local suggestions, its own coverage zone and its own realistic eight-hour itineraries.

The zone is always the city and its immediate area rather than intercity travel. If you want to move between cities — Pattaya to Bangkok, for example — message us on WhatsApp and we will quote that route as a separate transfer.
