Bangkok Pattaya Tour Package for Indian Families — The Complete 2026 Guide

The Bangkok Pattaya tour package is the most popular Thailand itinerary for Indian families — and for good reason. Two cities that complement each other perfectly: Bangkok gives you the temples, the markets, Safari World, and the river. Pattaya gives you Coral Island, the cabaret shows, Tiger Park, and evenings on the beach strip. Together in 4 nights, they cover everything Indian families come to Thailand to do.

This guide is written by the team that actually operates this itinerary in Thailand. We cover every day in full detail — what happens, in what order, at what time, and why it's structured this way. We cover the Indian food stops, the Alcazar Show, what the optional Coral Island activities cost, and the honest comparison of booking through an Indian OTA versus booking directly with us.

If you've seen this itinerary on MakeMyTrip, Veena World, Kesari, Thomas Cook, or SOTC — you're looking at the same land package. The difference is who runs it on the ground when you land.

If you're still deciding between Bangkok-only and Bangkok + Pattaya, read our Bangkok tour packages for Indian families guide first — it covers the 4N/5D Bangkok-only itinerary, full cost breakdown from India, and how to choose between the two formats.

Day 1 — Bangkok Airport to Pattaya: Tiger Topia, Indian Buffet & Alcazar Show

Airport Pickup & the Drive to Pattaya

Your guide meets you at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport arrivals hall with a name board. The drive from Bangkok airport to Pattaya takes approximately 1.5–2 hours depending on traffic, heading southeast along the highway toward the Eastern Seaboard.

Your guide uses the drive time well — briefing the full itinerary, answering questions about the two cities, and setting expectations for each activity. By the time you reach Pattaya, you know exactly what the next five days look like.

Tiger Topia — Tiger Show Enroute

Tiger Topia Pattaya tiger show enroute Bangkok airport family tour package
Tiger Topia is a tiger performance show visited enroute from Bangkok airport to Pattaya — a natural stop on the drive that adds no significant detour time.

The first activity stop is Tiger Topia, located conveniently along the Bangkok–Pattaya route. This is a tiger show — structured arena performances that demonstrate tigers' natural behaviours and trained responses. It is a different experience from Tiger Park (which you'll visit on Day 3) — Tiger Topia is a seated show, Tiger Park is hands-on interaction with the animals.

The show runs at fixed times; your guide plans the departure from the airport to align with the optimal show time. Families with young children find the show format easier than the interactive Tiger Park experience — a good introduction to the Pattaya tiger encounters before the more immersive Day 3 visit.

Indian Buffet Lunch — Bengal Restaurant, Pattaya

After Tiger Topia, the drive continues to Pattaya for lunch at Bengal Restaurant — one of the most established Indian buffet restaurants in the city. North Indian cuisine with an extensive hot buffet including dal makhani, paneer dishes, biryani, chapati, naan, and a full vegetarian spread. The restaurant is accustomed to large Indian family groups and maintains consistent quality across all the food categories Indian families care about most.

This is your first Indian meal in Thailand — and for most families, it confirms what they suspected: Indian food in Pattaya is genuinely good.

Check In to Your Pattaya Hotel

Check-in to your 4-star Pattaya hotel in the afternoon. Most hotels in the package are located in central Pattaya — close to the beach, easy access to the evening activities. Pattaya Beach Road and the hotel strip are walkable from most central properties.

The afternoon break gives you time to settle, swim in the hotel pool, or walk to Pattaya Beach before the evening.

Evening: Alcazar Cabaret Show

Alcazar Cabaret Show Pattaya evening family tour Bangkok Pattaya package
The Alcazar theatre seats 1,200 and runs multiple shows daily — your guide books the timing that fits your Day 1 arrival and gives you a good evening schedule.

The Alcazar Cabaret Show is one of the most famous performances in Southeast Asia and the defining evening activity for Indian families in Pattaya. The 1,200-seat theatre stages a full production show — elaborate costumes, professional choreography, impressive production values. The performance is entirely non-verbal, so there is no language barrier. Suitable for all ages including young children and grandparents.

Our package includes show tickets and private car service: your guide picks you up from the hotel, drops you at the Alcazar theatre, and returns to collect you after the show.

Walking Street — Your Evening After the Show

After the show drop-off, Walking Street is a 5–10 minute taxi or ride-hail ride from most Pattaya hotels. Pattaya Walking Street — Beach Road South — is the most famous entertainment strip in Pattaya and worth seeing as a spectacle even for families who aren't there for the nightlife. The lights, the street food stalls, the performers outside the venues, and the general controlled chaos of the strip at night is an experience in itself.

Families with adults who want to explore can do so independently after the show. Walking Street runs until very late — return to the hotel at whatever time suits you.

Day 2 — Coral Island (Koh Larn): Full Day at the Best Beach Near Pattaya

Coral Island Koh Larn Pattaya speedboat tour turquoise water snorkelling Bangkok Pattaya package
The speedboat from Balihai Pier to Koh Larn takes 45 minutes. The water colour at Coral Island is what most Indian families expect from a Thai beach — and rarely find in the busy parts of Phuket.

9:30 AM — Hotel Pickup & Drive to Balihai Pier

Your guide picks up your group from the hotel at 9:30 AM and transfers you to Balihai Pier in South Pattaya — the main departure point for all Coral Island tours. Boarding the speedboat takes approximately 10–15 minutes; the crossing to Koh Larn takes 45 minutes.

The boat arrives at the island's main pier, from where beach access and the activities platform are a short walk.

For our complete guide on everything at Coral Island — which beach to go to, the fish feeding, what the water is like in different months, and full pricing — read: Coral Island Pattaya Tour — Complete Guide to Koh Larn.

At the Island: Beach, Swimming & Optional Activities

Coral Island has several beaches. Tawaen Beach (the main beach) is the most accessible and most popular with Indian families — wide, shaded, with sun loungers, vendors, and the activities platform in front.

Included in the package: Speedboat transfer, island entrance, and time on the beach.

Optional paid activities — booked and paid directly at the activities platform on the island:

ActivityPrice (approximate)Notes
Parasailing฿500–800/personTandem available — good for first-timers
Sea Walk฿800–1,200/personWalk on the seabed with an oxygen helmet — no swimming skills needed. Very popular with Indian families
Jet Ski฿400–600 per 15 minSingle or double. Guide can negotiate
Banana Boat฿200–300/personGroup activity — fun for families with teenagers

Your guide accompanies the group on the island and helps navigate the activities platform — which operators are reliable, what the fair price is, and which activities are suitable for your children's ages.

Sea Walk is the activity Indian families most often say they wish they had done sooner. Non-swimmers can do it — you walk on the seabed at 3–4 metres depth with a large oxygen helmet, and the coral and fish around you are visible with full clarity. It requires no training and no swimming ability.

Indian Buffet Lunch After Coral Island

After returning from Koh Larn, your guide takes the group to an Indian restaurant for buffet lunch — an important logistical detail that many tour operators miss. Coming off a morning in the sea, hungry, with wet hair and the salt still on your skin, a full Indian buffet is exactly right. The restaurant is typically 10–15 minutes from the pier.

Afternoon: return to the hotel. Rest, pool time, or explore Pattaya Beach at leisure.

Day 3 — Tiger Park, Floating Market & Transfer to Bangkok

Tiger Park Pattaya — Hands-On Tiger Interaction

Big tiger at Tiger Park Pattaya Thailand 2026 pool enclosure interaction
The Big tiger package — 2 to 5 years old. Requires 18+ years and 160 cm height minimum. One of the most dramatic interactions available at the park.

Tiger Park is the hands-on tiger experience — a different category from Tiger Topia's show format on Day 1. At Tiger Park you enter the enclosures and have direct interaction with tigers of different age groups. The Smallest (3–6 month cubs) and Newborn enclosures are open to all ages with no height restriction. The Small, Medium, Big, and Giant tiger enclosures require visitors to be 18 years or older and 160cm or taller.

This is critical for Indian families: adults under 160cm — regardless of age — are restricted to the Smallest cub enclosure only. This catches many families by surprise at the counter. Your guide will explain the options before you arrive so everyone in the group knows exactly which tigers they can interact with and what to book.

For a complete breakdown of Tiger Park pricing (single tickets from ฿670, packages from ฿1,190), age and height rules for each enclosure, and the best-value packages — read our guide: Pattaya Tiger Park — Complete Guide.

Pattaya Floating Market

After Tiger Park, the itinerary includes the Pattaya Floating Market (Four Regions Floating Market) before departing for Bangkok. The market sits on a large lake divided into four sections representing the different culinary regions of Thailand — North, Northeast, Central, and South. Vendors sell from wooden boats and stilted shophouses; the food is excellent and the setting is photogenic.

For families who enjoyed the Damnoen Saduak floating market experience in Bangkok, this is different in character — calmer, more spacious, and more focused on food than on the canal boat chaos. Time here is typically 45–60 minutes.

Private Transfer to Bangkok & MBK Mall Evening

After the floating market, your private vehicle heads to Bangkok — a 2-hour drive. You arrive at your Bangkok 4-star hotel in the early evening.

MBK Center (Mahboonkrong) is a 5–10 minute taxi ride from most central Bangkok hotels and one of the best shopping evenings available in Bangkok. Seven floors of shops: clothing, electronics, mobile phones, jewellery, Thai silk, and food. The food court on the 6th floor is one of the best in Bangkok — a wide range of Thai dishes at canteen prices. Indian families consistently enjoy the MBK food court as much as any restaurant in the city.

Day 4 — Safari World Bangkok & Chao Phraya Princess Dinner Cruise

Full Day at Safari World & Marine Park

Safari World Bangkok open zone safari giraffes family tour Indian visitors 2026
The Safari World open zone — your private vehicle drives through the safari as giraffes approach the windows. Plan a full day here: the open zone plus Marine Park shows takes a minimum of 5–6 hours.

Day 4 is the Bangkok highlight that Indian families consistently rate alongside Coral Island as the best day of the trip.

Morning: Open Zone Safari Drive-Through. Your private vehicle enters the open safari zone. Giraffes lower their heads to the car windows. Zebras cross in front of you. White rhinos graze at arm's length. Ostriches circle the vehicle with unsettling confidence. The experience is not from a distance — the animals come to you.

Afternoon: Marine Park. The separate Marine Park zone has a full schedule of shows running continuously: orang-utan show, cowboy stunt show, spy games show, sea lion performance, and the dolphin show — the one that Indian families photograph most and talk about longest.

Plan the entire day here. Operators who give you two hours at Safari World — and many do — are not giving you enough time.

For our complete guide including show timings, ticket prices, the Indian buffet lunch available inside the complex, and everything else to know before you visit: Safari World Bangkok — Complete Guide 2026.

Evening: Chao Phraya Princess Dinner Cruise

Chao Phraya Princess dinner cruise Bangkok river night Wat Arun illuminated temples
The Chao Phraya Princess departs from the pier at Terminal 21 Rama 3 — passing Wat Arun, the Grand Palace waterfront, and the Bangkok skyline at night.

The Chao Phraya Princess Dinner Cruise departs from the pier at Terminal 21 Rama 3 mall — which is convenient for a pre-cruise shopping stop, as the terminal is attached to one of Bangkok's best malls.

The cruise runs for approximately 2 hours, passing the most illuminated section of the Chao Phraya River at night: Wat Arun lit up in gold, the Royal Palace waterfront, the old Portuguese quarter, the suspension bridges. Dinner is served on board. Indian vegetarian options are available — inform us at enquiry and we will confirm the vegetarian/Jain arrangement with the cruise operator before your trip.

The combination of a full Safari World day followed by a river dinner cruise is the best single day on the Bangkok Pattaya itinerary. Two completely different experiences in one day — animals in the morning, the river city at night.

Day 5 — Marble Temple, Golden Buddha & Airport Transfer

Day 5 timing depends on your flight. For morning or early afternoon flights, the city tour is abbreviated or skipped — your guide coordinates pickup time against your flight. For afternoon or evening flights, you have a comfortable half-day for the two remaining temple stops.

Wat Benchamabophit — The Marble Temple

Bangkok temples Day 5 Marble Temple Wat Benchamabophit Golden Buddha tour
The Bangkok temple circuit on Day 5 — Marble Temple and Golden Buddha are compact, can be done in a relaxed 2–3 hours, and are close to both central Bangkok hotels and the airport road.

Wat Benchamabophit — the Marble Temple — is one of the most beautiful Buddhist temples in Bangkok and one of the least crowded on the tourist circuit. Built in the early 20th century by King Chulalongkorn, the temple is constructed entirely in Italian Carrara marble, giving it a luminous white quality that looks completely different from the gilded temples at the Grand Palace. The rear courtyard contains a gallery of 53 Buddha images from across Asia — an extraordinary collection that most visitors don't know exists.

Wat Traimit — The Golden Buddha

Wat Traimit houses the largest solid gold Buddha image in the world — 5.5 tonnes of pure gold, 3 metres tall, discovered accidentally in the 1950s when a plaster casing cracked during construction and the gold beneath was revealed. The image had been concealed in plaster for centuries, likely during a period of war to protect it. The museum attached to the temple tells the full story. Compact, fascinating, and only 30–40 minutes from most central Bangkok hotels.

Airport Transfer

Airport transfer Bangkok Pattaya tour package
After the temples, your guide transfers you directly to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport for your departure flight. The drive from central Bangkok to the airport takes 30–60 minutes depending on traffic. Your guide accounts for traffic and flight timing when setting the pickup time.

Indian Food on the Bangkok Pattaya Package — Every Day

One of the most important practical questions for Indian families. Here's the honest picture day by day:

Day 2 — Pattaya: Indian buffet lunch included after Coral Island return. Evening: hotel dining or guide-recommended Indian restaurant in Pattaya.

Day 3 — Bangkok arrival: MBK food court for evening — Indian counter available. Guide can direct to Pahurat (Bangkok's Little India) if preferred.

Day 4 — Bangkok: Lunch at or near Safari World — Indian options available nearby; your guide arranges. Dinner is the Chao Phraya Princess dinner cruise (vegetarian arrangement confirmed in advance).

Day 5 — Departure: Hotel breakfast and any meal before the airport.

Jain families: Specify at enquiry. We confirm no-garlic, no-onion, no-root-vegetable arrangements at every restaurant stop including the dinner cruise.

Why Book Direct vs Veena World, Kesari, Thomas Cook, MakeMyTrip

When you book a Bangkok Pattaya package through an Indian OTA or tour operator, the land component is passed to a Bangkok sub-operator on arrival — typically at a 15–25% markup above the local price. You find out who your actual on-ground contact is when you land.

Trip Thai Tour is TAT-licensed and is the operator — not the middleman. When you book with us, you are booking the team that meets you at the airport, drives you to every activity, and whose WhatsApp number you have saved in your phone before you leave India.

What this means practically for a Bangkok Pattaya tour:

  • The Day 1 airport–Tiger Topia–Pattaya transfer timing is coordinated by your actual guide, not relayed through a call centre
  • If the Alcazar Show timing changes or a coral island sea condition causes a timing shift, you get a direct message from your guide — not a delayed update through an operator in India
  • The Indian buffet lunch stops are confirmed and reserved, not improvised at the last minute
  • Tiger Park enclosure rules (especially the height restriction) are briefed before arrival so no one is surprised at the counter

If you want flights and land package in one INR transaction, Indian OTAs are genuinely convenient for that. If you already have flights and want the best land package with real local support, book directly. You can browse all available options — Bangkok-only, Bangkok + Pattaya, and multi-city packages — on our Bangkok tour packages page.

How to Book

Fill in the enquiry form on our Bangkok + Pattaya Package page with your travel dates, number of adults and children (with ages), and whether you want the standard or deluxe version. Common add-on requests:

  • Extending to 6N/7D — adding one more Pattaya day (Sanctuary of Truth or Nong Nooch Tropical Garden) or one more Bangkok day (Ayutthaya or Kanchanaburi day trip)
  • Adding Phuket for a Bangkok + Pattaya + Phuket 8–10 day package
  • Upgrading hotel to 5-star in one or both cities
  • Large group bookings (above 10 people, multiple vehicles)

Travelling to Bangkok only, without Pattaya? Our Bangkok tour packages for Indian families covers the full 4N/5D Bangkok itinerary — Safari World, Grand Palace, Damnoen Saduak floating market, Indian food guide, visa rules, and best time to travel from India — all in one guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Bangkok Pattaya 4 Nights 5 Days package starts from ฿13,500 per person. For a family of 4, the land package total starts from ฿54,000 — approximately INR 1,32,000 at current exchange rates. This includes 4-star hotels in both Pattaya and Bangkok (4 nights total), Coral Island tour, Tiger Topia, Tiger Park, Alcazar Show, Safari World, Chao Phraya dinner cruise, Indian buffet lunches on Days 1 and 2, all private transfers throughout, and a licensed guide. Flights are not included.

These are two completely different experiences. Tiger Topia (visited on Day 1, enroute from Bangkok airport to Pattaya) is a tiger show — you watch tigers perform in an arena setting, with demonstrations of their natural behaviours. Tiger Park (visited on Day 3 in Pattaya before transferring to Bangkok) is an interactive experience where you enter enclosures and have hands-on contact with tigers of different age groups. Both are included in the package. We have a detailed guide on Tiger Park: what ages are allowed with each tiger, the height rules, and which package gives you the best value.

The Coral Island tour includes the speedboat from Balihai Pier and beach time on Koh Larn. Optional paid activities at the island include: parasailing (฿500–800/person), sea walk (฿800–1,200/person — walking on the seabed with an oxygen helmet, suitable for non-swimmers), jet ski (฿400–600 per 15 minutes), and banana boat (฿200–300/person). These are booked and paid directly at the activity platform on the island — your guide will explain each option and help you book the right ones for your family.

The Alcazar Cabaret Show is one of Pattaya's most famous performances — a lavish stage show featuring elaborate costumes, professional choreography, and a cast of performers in a 1,200-seat theatre. The show is entirely family-appropriate and is one of the most popular evening activities for Indian families in Pattaya. The performance is non-verbal — no language barrier. Our package includes show tickets and private car pickup from your hotel and return. The show runs multiple times daily — your guide books the optimal timing around your Day 1 arrival.

The Chao Phraya Princess is one of Bangkok's most established dinner cruise vessels, departing from the pier at Terminal 21 Rama 3 mall. The 2-hour river cruise passes illuminated temples, the Grand Palace waterfront, Wat Arun, and the Bangkok skyline at night. Dinner is served on board — Indian vegetarian options are available on request when booking. The boarding location at Terminal 21 Rama 3 means you can combine the evening with shopping at the mall before the cruise departs. The cruise runs nightly and is one of the most memorable evenings on the Bangkok Pattaya itinerary.

Yes — Indian buffet lunch is included on Days 1 and 2 in Pattaya. Day 1 lunch is at Bengal Restaurant, a well-established Indian buffet restaurant in Pattaya serving North Indian cuisine with extensive vegetarian options. Day 2 lunch is at an Indian restaurant after returning from Coral Island. In Bangkok (Days 3–5), your guide will direct you to the right Indian restaurants for your group's preference — Pahurat (Bangkok's Little India), Silom Road options, or mall restaurants. Jain-friendly options are available on request at all Indian restaurant stops.

Yes — the 4N/5D itinerary is the most popular format for Indian families combining both cities. Two nights in Pattaya gives you Coral Island and the evening activities without rushing. Two nights in Bangkok covers Safari World and the temples. If your family wants more time in either city, we offer 6N/7D versions — extending Pattaya by one day adds the Sanctuary of Truth or Nong Nooch Garden, and extending Bangkok by one day allows a full Ayutthaya or Kanchanaburi day trip.

Yes — Walking Street (Pattaya's famous entertainment strip on Beach Road South) is a 5–10 minute drive from most Pattaya hotels. After the Alcazar Show drop-off, families with adults who want to see the street can visit independently by taxi or ride-hail. Walking Street is lively until very late. Families typically walk part of the street for the atmosphere and lights — it is a spectacle in its own right. Your guide can advise on the section that's most appropriate depending on your group composition.

Indian OTAs and tour companies like MakeMyTrip, Veena World, Kesari, Thomas Cook, and SOTC all offer Bangkok Pattaya packages. They are convenient for bundling flights with the land package in one INR transaction. However, the land component is always passed to a local Bangkok sub-operator — typically at a 15–25% markup. Booking directly with Trip Thai Tour means you are booking the actual on-ground operator. Your guide's WhatsApp number is confirmed before you leave India, the itinerary is customisable by direct message, and there is no middleman between you and the team running your tour.

November to February is ideal — cool temperatures (22°C–32°C), calm seas for Coral Island, and clear weather for Safari World. December and January are peak season for Indian families — school holidays, high demand, book 6–8 weeks ahead. Coral Island is best visited between November and April when the water is clear and waves are manageable. June–September is monsoon season — Coral Island can be rough, but prices are lower and Bangkok activities are unaffected. March–May is the hot season — manageable with private air-conditioned transport throughout.

Yes. Adding Phuket creates a Bangkok + Pattaya + Phuket itinerary, typically 8–10 days total. This is a popular combination for Indian families with 10+ days available. Phuket adds Phi Phi Island boat trips, James Bond Island, and the Big Buddha. Ask for the extended itinerary options when you enquire — we build these as fully private, fully customised packages.
